I didn't much care for the way Joe Quesadilla put together Orgins. Since nobody really cares about the story -- which is nowhere near Jenkins' best writing -- it should do well at the box office. I don't plan on seeing it though.

Why are people cheering? wtf... I've never seen that before. You do that in NYC, you get shot.
It's at Comic Con. If the lights had been on you'd have seen pools of semen on the floor.

A lot of the movie was filmed in my hometown, Dunedin, NZ.

yeh they do alot of filming in NZ now, good open spaces and its tonnes cheaper.
it looks sick, gambit is in it so it will probably be better then ironman aswell.
hopefully it will top the dark knight. though i dont see it getting anywhere close 2 measuring up to that.

Yep, that's him. Rumour was he may even get his own spinoff if this one does well, although I highly doubt it'd be on the scale of Wolverine since he's not really an established character outside the comic books.

You shall never talk about Deadpool in such a way ever again.
Deadpool may not be universally known like the XMEN, but I would take him over 90% of the XMEN in a fight to the death. I mean, he's a top five superhero to me.

I didn't say he was crap, just that he isn't as well known as Wolverine and because of that Fox probably wouldn't be willing to sink $100 million + into a movie for a character that no one outside of comic book fans know.
I'm a Deadpool fan too, i've got most of his comics at home.

Bought the first 4, haven't bought any after that. I was disappointed they canned Cable & Deadpool (Even though Cable wasn't in it for the last 10 or so). I find it better when he has a straight man to play off, rather then being by himself.

They could've given him his own book and kept the series going at the same time. No big deal at all. There's gotta be at least 50 different XMEN series going on at once or something right now. What's the big deal?

10 is an understatement. Funny thing is, I used to be a fan of XMEN and Wolverine in general, but it would be pretty difficult to keep up with all his books/series/arcs. I'd have to spend $30 a week just on Wolverine alone, and I'm not about to do that. :oldlol:

I stopped buying for the moment because I just moved outta home so I've got to be a bit more fiscally responsible now. But before that the ones I picked up every month were
New Avengers, Captain America, Punisher: War Journal, The Punisher (Max Series), Deadpool, Ghost Rider, Ultimate X-Men, Deadpool, Spider-Man, Hellblazer and the various Transformer comics that IDW put out. I'd pick up mini-series and stuff like that along the way too.

You've never heard of it? They've been trying to do that movie for decades, but apparently, It's being made for 2010 starring Josh Brolin as Hex (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1075747/). I heard only months ago that several scripts from several different sources were shot down in flames by multiple studios, the last being shopped around by Thomas Jane and others.
He actually went as far as spending a day with a makeup friend and produced this photo:

That's pretty cool that he went that far. I like Thomas Jane, I was kinda dissapointed he dropped out of The Punisher 2, but I guess it's better he doesn't do a movie at all instead of a rather crappy one.

Nah, I don't even know if it's going to be released in Australia or not to be honest. Haven't heard of it yet. Have to wait for the DVD maybe.
They completely changed the Thunderbolts post Civil War. Went from being a bunch of supervillains who were trying to redeem themselves, to a bunch of supervillains who were forced to be superheros otherwise they'd go back to prison. Kinda ruined it for me a bit. The guy who wrote Cable & Deadpool also wrote the Thunderbolts before they changed it. They were two of my favourites at the time.
