Looks like a nice athlete from the vid. the last dunk was impressive. I would be interested in seeing his combine times compared to MJs... His vert is probably similar to MJs too because at 5"8 that last dunk was VERY IMPRESSIVE...

Michael said Larry could do better windmills than he could.

his brother used to kick his ass in basketball for a long time.

He actually looks like he has the same type of fluid movement on his first step that Jordan did. Not the same quickness, but I mean the way he moves (and it's quick, too).

Larry says he's able to challenge Michael on the basketball court again, Michael's way out of shape.

I never said he was a good player, he's just a walk-on. However, if you think that's not hops for a 6'1 guy, you're just hating because he's MJ's son. I've seen him dunk during warmups in person, and believe me, his hops are legit.

you have seen him do what?what do you consider hops....A 6"1 person dunking is normal where Im at so it might be different that there are different perceptions of hops. I have never seen JJ display any elite level athletic skills.

Sure, a 6'1 guy dunking isn't that impressive, but I've seen JJ pull off windmills off the glass, through the legs, and other similar dunks. Not every 6'1 guy that can dunk can pull those off.

Where exactly have you seen him where he has had the opportunity to display his athleticism?

edit: your right...he has hops. I stand corrected.

if he can do that then I was totally off about him. I saw him in warmups in high school and I saw him finish a couple breaks in an all star game. Was not under the impression he could windmill off the glass or go between the legs. It also goes against his scouting report on rivals as well. Maybe he has been taking that stuff Wade got....

I'm too lazy to find the link.. but you can see them dunking on Youtube... Pretty decent dunkers.

Hes actually pretty good now, his brother Marcus is better though. Jeff should get some playing time next year.

BTW, Jeffs vertical was measured at 42 inches, and once it was at 46 inch. Thats hops.

If the rest of the Jordan family ate their Wheaties they would have been 6'6" also....and still have the genetic ability to soar through the air....

He's really 5'8? That looked even easier than it did for Spud Webb.

Edit; Wtf? Does anyone know what is going on with Coach K's eye in the USA vs Lithuania game? Looks like Sprewell got a hold of him.
