Im not saying based on skill level could they but are they even allowed? I mean they have WNBA, which is only for women, so is NBA only for men or no? What exactly does it mean national basketball association?

BBA (Boner Basketball Association).
Would Jeff Gordon enter the Daytona 500 in a Prius?
Women don't have muscles, they can't compete.

flawed logic. I would undoubtedly say the WNBA is NOT a "BBA."
i think it'd be an interesting situation. I bet legal action would ensue if the NBA didn't allow it, but I bet it'd rule in favor of the NBA because theres a WNBA
I love to see Sue Bird dunk on Lebron James That would be awesome to see.

Nike would remove that footage, instantly.
if they let women play in the nba
then they would have to let men play in the wnba
and i would be the first to challenge it in court. and later become mvp of that POS league

Wrong. "WNBA" stands for "Women's Basketball Association." "NBA" does not stand for "Men's National Basketball Association." There is even a precedent set for this, Nancy Lieberman once played in the USBL.
Of course, the woman good enough to make an NBA roster currently doesn't exist, so none of this speculation maters. But someday we could see some amazing BalCO product break the gender barrier. Possibly. Just don't hold your breath.
i think they are allowed
but they are way to frail weak slow little for the men of NBA
it brings some other complications if u know what i mean lol
like in the changing room
nobody is stupid enough to recruit a woman
1979-1980 indiana pacers were close to be stupid enough as they recruited the first and last ever woman to the NBA........ ANN MEYERS
she had three day tryouts and was immediately cut ofcourse........
check it out, ann meyers indiana pacers tryout : http://www.nba.com/video/channels/nba_tv/2009/09/17/nba_20090917_ann_meyers_pacers.nba/index.html

Lucy Harris say "Hello", I was drafted by the Jazz.
But she didn't play.
After they fix a "sammich" and finish ironing my pants... then maybe.
Brittany Greiner in the NBA would be awesome. Myra Moore would be another one that would be interesting.
