How do you explain how LeBron James has more assists than Tony Parker?

How do you explain how LeBron James has more assists than Tony Parker in their overall regular season careers?

Tony Parker does what he does well, and Lebron has always been a great passer.

Lebron has the ball in his hands 80% of the time. That's more than most guards. He is a forward trying to play point guard. He should be averaging double digits with all that talent around him.

San Antonio has always played like a team alot of ball movement and Timmy posting up, often a post up bucket doesn't give you an assist. Plus he shares the ball with Manu.
