If LeBron goes back to Cle and wears #23 we know the respecting MJ thing was a cover.
Remember this?

Either way I call BS but if he goes back to Cleveland and wears 23 again, it's basically proof that as early or 2009 or earlier he was planning on going to Miami and that the entire free agency thing was BS and an intentional circus for the purposes of deceit.
Why? Jordan's number 23 is retired in Miami.

haha I don't think MJ respects anyone but himself so who cares.

Doesn't make sense though that he'd apply to change his number that far in advance when switching teams allows him to switch numbers without any application anyways.

Sure it does... He was trying to make people believe he was willingly giving up 23. It's an ego thing.

Not the point... Just shows that the decision drama was bs all along and he had long made up his mind.
Re: If LeBron goes back to Cle and wears #23 we know the respecting MJ thing was a cover.
He wore his practice # 6 in Cleveland too

Re: If LeBron goes back to Cle and wears #23 we know the respecting MJ thing was a cover.
He wears no. 23 because Jordan was his favorite player growing up and he views Jordan to be the greatest to ever play the game (has said so many times).

I can't really hate on the guy for that. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
At least he's honest about why he wears the number, unlike Kobe choosing 24 and 10 (on the Olympics) thinking that was +1 Jordan, lol.
Re: If LeBron goes back to Cle and wears #23 we know the respecting MJ thing was a cover.
However, Jordan has no respect for the man
Re: If LeBron goes back to Cle and wears #23 we know the respecting MJ thing was a cover.
Bron saying Jordan is greatest and sorry ass stans saying Bron > Jordan when not even Bron thinks so. Damn sheep.
Bryant's first high school number was 24 before he switched to 33. After the Lakers' season ended, Bryant said on TNT that he wanted 24 as a rookie, but it was unavailable, as was 33, retired with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Bryant wore 143 at the Adidas ABCD camp, and chose 8 by adding those numbers.
