Dion Waiters has looked great in OKC so far, Cleveland is just a toxic place to play.
Whats that saying, one mans trash is another mans treasure? Waiters played inspired defense vs the Jazz and scored the two biggest baskets of the game. Said afterwards that it's easier to play well when you don't have to look over your shoulder after every miss, and I see where he's coming from. All OKC has to do now is replace Roberson with Morrow in the starting lineup and ramp Adams' minutes up by 10 a game (cutting Perkins' minutes) and they are set for contention.
Meanwhile Cleveland has been toxic since LeBron has shown up, trading away their franchise player and entire future (Wiggins) for Love who can opt out after the year, all to make LeBron (who can opt out after the year) happy. Waiters soon followed and now both guys are looking great.

Lower IQ backcourt Iriving/Smith or Russ/Waiters?
Clearly OKC is better since Goatbrook is better than all the other 3 combined but interesting question none the less.

At least Waiters and Westbrook are good defenders.

I agree they are way better but the question was in regards to IQ cause I never thought the stupidity of Irving and Waiters combined would be topped but it very well may be with Irving and Smith.

Yeah I'd say so.
Thing about Westbrook is that I know he has the IQ to be a pass first PG, it's just his mentality that keeps it from happening. I've seen Westbrook have plenty of games where he drops 12+ assists like it's nothing, but many other games no one else on OKC is doing shit and he has to be aggressive.
JR dropped 27 tho
he played 43 minutes and his team lost the game.
JR Smith is not an asset at all. Guy is a cancer who will occasionally drop 20+ points, just not someone you wanna have on your team.

Goatbrook is certified beast no doubt

Cavs played the best team in the league without Lebron.
Thunder played the Jazz lol

Yeah but sometimes I wish we had a guy like Lillard because he plays more under control and shoots the 3 much better.
I love Westbrook but it may be time for him to pull a Dwyane Wade and pull the plug on his 3pt shooting.

Thats cool, doesn't change the fact that Dion Waiters last year played great after the all star break, impressed the Thunder at the team USA basketball camp, and is a talented young two way player, while JR Smith is just a cancer who shoots a lot of shots and occasionally scores well.

OKC's stacked no doubt. It would be very disappointing if they somehow miss the playoffs.

People acting like Waiters is a cancer but Cleveland fans were hype for him heading into the year. Not his fault he played on a team whose star and "leader" is someone who will throw everyone around him under the bus before taking any accountability.
Durant in his post game interview was asked about dishing to Waiters for a big 3 and the way he answered it made it seem like he already has chemistry with Waiters, said something simple like "We trust him to hit those shots"
