Hey guys ill be in san Francisco for a couple of days.where can I play basketball?I m near mountain view and no one plays around here.if I go at a rec center they pl let me play?is there a fee as a guest?anyone plays in the city?I can grab the caltrain and go if u know any court.around what time do people gather to play?

Go down to the courts around dusk and yell out "I got next". It really is that simple. Google basketball courts in your area if you are unfamiliar with SF.

castro park in mountain view has pick up on sunday mornings. I haven't gone but some guys at the gym say it's pretty fun, but not really very high level bball if you're looking for a competitive game.

If you live in Mountain View why are you asking about places to play in SF? That's silly. There are a lot of places to play in the South Bay (Cupertino, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto).
