Persians are a different breed. They only say they're Muslim because of namesake. They are the very few in the area that are least Muslim.

He would consider this an insult. He would rather hear about Persians saving Jews than being called Muslims that saved Jews.

People were offended because I started labeling different Muslims. Not all Muslims are the same. Some worse than others.

For example Muslims from Bosnia are very violent. We should worry about Bosnians.

Persians I know and around Southern California want to distant themselves from Islam.

The ones that just arrived in America want to quickly assimilate and party.

First thing they do is hit up the mall and get new clothes.

my first clue on that is that iranians are purported to be some of the friendliest people in the world.

i don't know of many muslim countries with friendly ppl other than maybe morocco.

maybe that was part of his motivation.

but it seems like the japanese are still delusional about a lot of stuff that happened around WWII. for example their parliament still won't admit that they forced a bunch of [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comfort_women]girls[/url] to be sex slaves for their troops, they tend to conveniently forget their sneak attack on pearl harbor, and many tend to blame the US for the outrage of dropping atomic bombs on them, even though their military pretty much did everything in their power to cause that to happen.

A lot depends on the ethnicity of the muslim.


The good ones generally speaking, are not the North African/Saudi kind, so probably any other muslim would of done a kind act like this.

You are right.


That region does tend to have better people and better culture.

Not hard to fathom when the parents and grandparents of the current Iranians enjoyed the fruitful culture of pre 1979 Iran and passed on that happiness to their kids.
