Wait, so Duncan only had 2 good Finals performances? (1999 + 2003)
:wtf:
How the hell do people argue he was 'underrated' throughout his career?

I think it's bc of how heavily the media pushed its favoritism onto Kobe.
Compared to #12, Duncan does get under rated in the mainstream. But most savvy fans already know he belongs comfortably ahead of Kobe, but behind Lebron.
Re: Wait, so Duncan only had 2 good Finals performances? (1999 + 2003)
Analytics weren't a "hit" until late 2000's
And Analytic dweebs LOVE Duncan, as they respectively should - dude was a fantasy GOD in his prime
During the 00's though it was all about ghetto ball players like Tmac, Iverson, Kobe. Ugly shoes but kids still bought em (w1gger era)
Now with sources like bball ref, tinder and the internet, people have finally become more aware of actual raw talent

OP so insecure about incoming 2/7 that he has to now try and discredit Duncan, who any knowledgeable person knows is ranked higher on the all time list than lebron. 5 rings in 3 different decades as the man > 2/7 and it's not even close.
What a meltdown and game 6 hasn't even started yet! Get it all out now kid, because after this series back in your hole you go. :lol

All of them - he did what was necessary to win in 5 of the 6. And in 2013, he had an outstanding Finals (particularly for his age) - unfortunately Pop decided to not play the player with the most playoff defensive rebounds ever - if Duncan were on the floor, I'd bet he'd have gotten that rebound instead of Bosh.
