The reason he left is because he knows he's not good enough to win a championship. He and his pr team have been looking for every excuse or person to blame they can find. It has nothing to do with touches or playstyle. He wants rings. He would gladly go to a team that played exactly like OKC if they won as much as Golden State.
Under Donovan the Thunder improved their movement and spacing; they still ranked last in the league in passes per game, while the Warriors ranked first.

Let's be real, he left because of Westbrook. If Durant was playing in OKC with a guy like CP3 or Curry, he wouldn't have left. I like Westbrook, because he's an exciting player who always gives 110%, but his game doesn't match his ego... which is crazy because he has a lot of game.
He left because it was his easiest chance at a ring.
