Everyone pretty much knows Westbrook is an inefficient moron that so happens to be gifted with an unbelievable motor and athleticism.
Nobody ever seems to acknowledge how underwhelming AD has been; low impact player who stuffs the stat sheet, and can never stay healthy. Has been heralded the NBAs next best player for several years now and has instead been passed over by Giannis and Harden and Curry.
AD is not worth the trade drama and not worth the headache.
Embiid is better. Less injury prone, more impactful.

Half the games AD missed weren't even due to actual injury. Pels shut him down at the end of the season for trade value purposes.

It's kinda true though. Embiid had like peak injury years, hurts some shit here and there now, but Davis misses crucial amounts of games every year. That said Davis didn't have the luxury Embiid has in philly when it comes to missing games.
Agree, as a first option he's useless.
Davis has a skillset that's better suited as a second option imo. He's not a primary ball handler and most of his scoring involves finishing or pick and pop. Those guys have historically worked better as secondary players.
I get not really focusing on a post game in the modern NBA (still believe it has its uses though) but unless he can do the shit Giannis can do (if he even can) he's better suited having a star teammate that can handle the ball, dish it when necessary, and take over because the way AD operates I have doubts on building around him.
