Watching that Harden deep three , I finally understand
One of the most talented offensive players of all time.
Will never be a winner.
The game is close ( 4 point game I believe), he just takes a three from the logo 0 **** given. Plenty of time on the clock, he just disrespected BOTH teams in a single play. The other team for drilling a three from the logo, and his own team for literally taking the worst shot attempt in the game instead of moving the ball around.
One of the most talented scorers of all time but,
come playoff time though, someone will put the clamps on him, he will refuse to move the ball, shoot 35% and shoot the Rockets out of another playoff run.

You mean shoot a shot that he swished early in the game from that exact same distance?
:oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:
Yeah, keep the bullshit flowing.
Re: Watching that Harden deep three , I finally understand

At the 4 minute mark of the 4th quarter:

It's called shooting your shot with confidence. Maybe that's foreign to you.

Yep, and I don't know how that's lost on his dickriders.
Re: Watching that Harden deep three , I finally understand
He practices that shot, it's a relatively high-percentage shot for him and takes little time off the shot-clock, which gives them more chances to come back and win the game, they're also one of the better teams at rebounding missed 3s.
Re: Watching that Harden deep three , I finally understand
Harden doesn't cross half court very far or in a hurry to play defense and yet here he is also not crossing half court very far on the other end for offense...
No wonder he's among league leaders in minutes yet looks so out of shape... he never plays end to end :oldlol:

You don't have to cross half-court very far when you have the talent and skill to drain shots from 30+ with ease.
The type of skill that didn't exist in the 90s.

He's not really out of shape. He has a little bit of a stomach because of his anterior pelvic tilt, but other than that he's a pretty bulky dude. Strong as hell, and really quick with the ball.
Re: Watching that Harden deep three , I finally understand
most talented? he has the most limited offensive arsenal of any historically great scorer

Limited? :oldlol: :oldlol:
Because he chooses not to shoot many mid-range? The handles, quickness, strength, footwork, and range out to 30+. That ain't limited, champ.
Re: Watching that Harden deep three , I finally understand
not every shot has to be a shot to make, anyway. Some shots can just be a 'why aren't you guarding me here' shot that makes the defense more wary of you. Of course, you can't air ball it, but if you make it some times (and it looks like he does, like Curry does) then that's even better. It's a calculated risk. Nothing wrong with a shot like that. late maybe it's kind of a weird shot, but in general it's not.
I don't think that's why James Harden will never be a winner. He's really balling. I was impressed with his defense in seeing him v LAC. WB needs to find his way and get decent and they will be alright. I still don't think they're gonna win a ring, but they are playing well.
Ultimately, Harden just has to be able to score 30-40 a game in the late playoffs on decent efficiency, like all the other god tier scorers, to be seen as one of the greatest scorers of all time. We'll see.
