I'm digging this 4 player co-op action. This is a definite throwback to the arcade quarter munching version. For pc and consoles.

When?
Apart from "coming soon", no release date has been posted.
I'm all for nostalgia but not one that comes at a $60 pricetag for 3hrs of 1992 fun. If somehow these wildly talented game devs just step away from trying to reconstruct the polygon count into HD and instead just take what Capcom/Konami already had and add another 1000 levels - yes like Super Mario Creator and but side scroller beat-em-up level customization. Put it all on public cloud similar to Dreams let 40yo kids memories run wild. Lock some level design content behind paywall who cares. The original X-men Arcade game already had a double wide screen and something like 6-8 co-op. Who cares about making cartoon graphics in 4K?
Lot of talk about Bluepoint dropping Metal Gear Solid remaster soon. Same with Silent Hill. 2 of my favorite games but both would have to be thoroughly flushed out and story expanded to really be worth $60 remaster. I'd be the first to pony up $100 on a full MGS Remake but not HD remaster.
Doesn't even look better than 1991 turtles in time tho, is this a demaster?
Granted the original 89 one from Konami was way ahead of it's time

It is 6-player local or online.
Way way better than the arcade OG, in visuals and gameplay. Original has just a very simple (but great for its time) beat em up. This one is def on SOR4 / Fight’N’Rage/Jitsu Squad level, maybe a bit higher in several ways.
