B.1.1.529?

South Africa’s government said Thursday it was considering new public-health restrictions to contain the new variant, dubbed B. 1.1.529. Scientists say it has a high number of mutations that may make it more transmissible and allow it to evade some of the immune responses triggered by previous infection or vaccination. The variant has been detected in a South African traveler in Hong Kong.

So what was the point for all those addicted to Vs - just a ridiculous situation. They will spin it and say variants are a reason to be V - but think of the logic, these Vs have no longterm testing results and not even short term testing results against variants. Yet, everyone seems to madly see Vs as the solution for anything related to Covid...sigh

I am completely lost at the madness that has enveloped the world.

The WHO had a meeting on what to name this new variant, and they narrowed it down to Omicron. The Omicron variant, the variant of concern.

The Dems must be pissed. They were probably saving this bogus variant for midterms. They were gonna bring back the white supremacy nugget after Kyle's trial (if you paid attention, you may have noticed that covid/vaccine mania was fairly quiet during the trial) but had to can that plan after the Waukesha incident. So its back to fear porn. Guess they'll have to come up with something else later.
