I read an article about this today, pointing out that he says the league is rigged for the suns, but Monty Williams just got fined for suggesting the league was rigged against them. But of course, everyone thinks the league is rigged, but nobody ever thinks it’s rigged in their favor. Nobody ever just loses. And free throws should be equal of course. Always. A disparity is criminal manipulation. Even of games nobody gives a shit about.

Pistons play the Magic in November….38 free throws to 18? Rigged. Gotta be.

one gam disparity is nothing significant/. if it's a pattern and is something that continues to happen...well then we have something worth epxloring.

The dismissal gets a lot easier once you investigate briefly and realize that fans on both sides of literally every single basketball game will claim the game is rigged against whoever they want to win or whatever the outcome they want for gambling purposes. And I do mean literally every single one. The game that just went off has people on Twitter claiming it was rigged for the Celtics but early that it was Rigged for the Bucks(before losing by 40) and that it was rigged late to affect the over/under.

Nothing is rigged to make anyone’s predictions or desires correct. Nobody is just stupid or wrong. The rig was in. And nobody notices the rig that helps them. They were just ahead of the curve. If you listen for it…every single thing is rigged. Everything.

At that point it’s just white noise.

To be fair you think people don't bet on bottom feeder matchups?

Free throw disparity has always been a problem but it's a bigger issue now because the rules are a complete joke so it looks even worse than what it is

Physicality is gone unless the refs on any given Sunday feels like it isn't but it's rare that both teams on the same night get to be physical. Usually one gets the benefit of the whistle while the other doesn't. So it's like one team is playing a completely different game than the other

I could see it being both ways. Some of the refs are just downright awful. If the league was this biased or rigged towards the big markets/names, Lakers wouldn't have lost like 4-5 games due to bad officiating on potential game-winning plays this season and would be a 4th seed right now.

You only remember the Boston one but there were a bunch of no-calls vs. Dallas that they ended up losing in double OT, then there's the Embiid foul on Russ that didn't get called with the Lakers down 1, then there's the Nunn 3 down 4 which should have been a 4-point play vs. Kings at the end of that game which the refs admitted was a foul and there were two other non-calls in crunch time of that game & I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two here but it's more than 1 game.

He may annoy a ton of people but he isn't wrong.
