I think that's a solid deal. He was inconsistent in the playoffs and didn't show up in the WCF. However, he fit well in the regular season and during the earlier rounds of the postseason. Mike Conley would've been a better fit, though. The D-Lo and AD P&R is pretty weak according to the numbers. Russell just isn't a natural passer in those play actions.

bron at the 3, Rui at the 4, Davis at the 5. Prince is not a starter in this league.
These numbers obviously don't tell a complete picture. Limited sample size. D-Lo does need to get better at passing to the roll man.

He actually played good in the first 2 round of the playoffs. One bad playoffs series against the nuggets doesn't mean he is a bad player. Nuggets were the best team in 2023

It’s 18.5 mill per year.
Lakers should sign Dillon Brooks for the minimum if they can. Russell Westbrook would be nice off the bench for them too.
