I never like talking about an athletes mental, because to get there you obviously have to be crazy sure of yourself to begin with. But I guess comparatively - he may fall short there. No other reason I see why he keeps on falling at the last hurdle or so.

yeah injuries are a bch. His rim protection level back before the multiple knee surgeries was best in the league level good + the 34 ppg. Man that shit is just unreal. fk injuries! Man has been cursed every.....single.......playoffs.

Which is obviously true, he does have that potential. Just like Tmac had that potential, Ralph Sampson had that potential, Wemby, Jokic, Giannis too.
Give him no injury, the right leaders around, the right coach, teammates, not a long shot he'd be quite a bit better than his current MVP self with likely a few titles.
