1993-94 Rockets: 15-0
1948-49 Capitols: 15-0
Both the Washington Capitols of 1948–49 and the Houston Rockets of 1993–94 began their seasons with 15 consecutive victories. With 24 consecutive victories to begin the 2015–16 season, the Golden State Warriors hold the record. The Cavaliers' 15-game winning run is also the longest at any stage during the season in the team's history.
The Cavaliers' offense has been the most notable change from last year, when they ended 48-34 and in fourth place in the East.
They were the league leaders going into Sunday, scoring 121.8 points per 100 possessions, up from their 16th-place 114.7 the previous season.
That Boston Cavs game on Tuesday has to be the most hyped of the season.

Its not.....Everyone knows the Celtics bring ratings down. They are the Spurs of the 2020's cept with a 5th of the success. Put that game on if you suffer from insomnia.
The cavaliers and warriors used to be rivals too in mid to late 2010s. It's interesting to note that they have something similar aside from facing each other four-straight times in the finals.
I'm not that surprised the Cavaliers have been so good. They had really good stretches last season despite injuries to key players. They've been on the cusp for a number of years now. The talent was there. Just weren't able to put it all together in a seamless, harmonizing way.
Coaching and getting the right complimentary pieces have been the solution so far.
