Re: Kings fire Mike Brown
Until Vivek sells the team, nothing is gonna change. Not that I care. F*ck the Queens
Re: Kings fire Mike Brown
Teams gives player big contact. Teams trades players after one season.
Teams hired HC. HC wins COY. Team fires HC not too long after.
NBA is run like a bunch of idiots that post on ISH. Why is this stuff accepted? Flat out dumb move by Sac.

Vivek is a micromanagin' fool!
Re: Kings fire Mike Brown
These coach firings are crazy.
Re: Kings fire Mike Brown
I remember him leading the kings where they ran in circles over the warriors during the play-ins aka losers bracket earlier this year.
Steve kerr is very lucky to have not gotten fired yet until now. But then again, he spearheaded the warriors to become a dynasty.

Byron Scott, Budenholzer, Duane Casey, Mike brown, Monty Williams…
Seems like winning the COTY award carries a certain curse with it.

George Karl too.
Re: Kings fire Mike Brown
I have to say, I'm surprised how underwhelming the Kings are doing this year. I thought with DeRozan they'd be a little bit better than last year. The coach might not be the only reason for their woes, but they need to do something different.

Firing the coach ain’t he solution.
Re: Kings fire Mike Brown
It doesn't surprise me at this point.
The Bucks last year fired Adrian Griffin after a 30-13 start then had a worse record under Rivers afterwards. Organizations are stupid sometimes.
Brown was the scapegoat.

Change coaches, trade Fox and do a soft rebuild while keeping Sabonis. The Fox+Sabonis experiment hasn't worked for the past three seasons. Fox has one year left on his contract after this season for $37 million. Sabonis is going to be hard to move I think because he's under contract until 27-28 for nearly $50 million a year by that point.

Owner is clueless and involves himself in operations. Gms have been duds. No leadership on the Kings team. Fox for as good as he is? Lacks leadership qualities. Team needs to add that. Mike brown is not without blame/fault. Questionable rotations and who he chooses to play. But that’s not enough to warrant a firing. It’s the punk way out. The issues still exist. Kings have been a laughing stock collecting welfare lottery picks until Brown showed up. Kings issues are deeper than finding a new voice/coach. They deserve to continue being a lottery team. Owner needs to sell team or mind his business with bball operations. Vlade Divac was another dud Gm as well. And while McNair did a good job collecting talent. The team still lacked size and defensive presence at the rim. And again….leaders. What a joke of a franchise.
