Why Does Charlotte Hornets won 9 games so far this season?

Charlotte Hornets only winning 9 games so far despite Lamelo Ball and Brandon Miller averaging 29.6 ppg and 21 ppg this season.

Also their center Mark Williams is having a great season

The Hornets offense is horrible. When they aren't getting an assist they are usually taking a forced shot

Also lamelo ball is a lot of fun to watch but I think the jury is still out on exactly how effective he is as a player and a leader

Not that they’d be good anyway but Lamelo, Miller, and Williams have all missed a ton of games.

Defense is average and offense is bad. Two guys scoring a lot of points isn't necessarily good offense. Some coach may one day channel the talent of those two into a good overall offense but right now it's a bad team featuring highlight reel plays from Ball.

Jordan sucked at recruiting players to play for this team. His weird obsession for guys who come from north carolina became a priority to him instead of going for a talented prospect.

Recruitment in Pro sports is about money. Ball is the only player on that team with a max contract. I'm not sure anyone else in their team history has been paid max. I know they lost Kemba Walker over money and can't think who they have ever paid to dollar other than Ball. If Jordan was offered stars elite pay he would have been able to "recruit" just fine.

Ball ia an inefficient gunner but the main reason would be cooper flagg
