Is AD the only player to arrive on lottery team and turn them into champion in 1 yr?

It's a goat season that he gets no credit for.. He turned a horrific defense into 1st place and led the Lakers in scoring.. He led the entire NBA in playoff scoring and dominated Jokic - Jokic cut his teeth on AD (AD raised him).

Unfortunately, the media lied and reported it as a Lebron title - they said that he was the best player despite being a bad defender and not carrying or leading the scoring.

He probably is, but it was a Mickey Mouse bubble fluke, and no serious person gives that ring any credence anyway.

The 2020 Heat were the worst finals team in the modern era. And with Adebayo injured too. Butler's 2nd option was Duncan Freaking Robinson.

Ray Allen and KG are 2 stars joining a team... And the other examples weren't 3-pointer era and were also multiple guys joining a team.. So AD is the only clear-cut example of someone doing it in the last half century
