Somehow a guy won the MVP award 3 times without getting any respect from the media. I guess that just makes him even more amazing.

Magic Johnson Vs Larry Bird has 2-1 Record in the NBA Finals. unfortunately, Magic has a winning record. Better team with much better Center in Kareem.

All Larry had to do is equal Magic with 1-1 or 2-2 or 3-3, Bird would've stolen #4 from Magic. Because, Bird was clearly a better player than Magic.

2-1 record makes Magic look to be better leader, better floor general in the clutchest situation. which may not be true.

But again. Magic has a winning record in highest pressure situatons. So, He edges out Bird. If people want to switch both. I've no problem. as long as both are in Top 5 GOATs. good enough.

I have Bird in the top five, behind Jordan, Russell, Wilt, and Kareem.
