+2800 preseason odds for 15' Warriors, yet everyone said "STACKED" after they won

The consensus was that the Warriors were a weak roster with +2800 odds in the preseason, so Curry simply carried them to 67 and 73 wins by having unprecedented domination (unanimous MVP)..

Lebron's history is to barely win 50 games with the preseason favorite from 11' to 16', thus falling to Finals underdog... So his Finals underdog status is due to weak regular seasons (bad basketball), and not his rosters, since the rosters are initially favored as the preseason favorite..

1994 preseason odds had the Bulls winning 44 games without MJ, they won 55. Vegas underestimated how good the Bulls were without Jordan.

So the 94' Bulls were the biggest "letdown" game of all time.. No one gave 2 bird shits about playing them..

But when opponents woke up in the playoffs and following season, the Bulls were 2nd Round losers and barely.500 in 95'.

Pippen was never a "franchise player" that was tasked with building a team from scratch.. He was simply handed a fully-developed goat dynasty, which he cratered to barely .500 in less than 18 months.. Any team with Pippen as the leading scorer will lack capacity to add talent because any decent scorer will supplant Pippen as 1st option.

I remember in '22 that Lebron and the Lakers were the pre-season favorites to win the West.


Then they ended up on the lottery.
