It’s technically news.

CJ is like Jrue Holliday in that it feels like they should exclusively play for contenders at this point so I always assume a buyout or second trade is coming to make that happen even when there’s no evidence of it.

bunch of name recognition pretty good but not great veterans floating around on teams that don’t make sense. Like DeMar DeRozan.

Wizards have two more of them in Marcus Smart and Middleton too.

No idea what either of those teams is trying to accomplish

Wizards now have respectable veterans to show young talent how to play. Now they just need young talent.

The problem is that respectable veterans usually reduce the influx of young talent.

wizards get off pooles contract for an expiring while pelicans duck the luxury tax. Also get someone with a bit more upside while dejounte doesnt play next year(tore his achilles)

We’ll sure it won’t make them a good team, but that group if healthy would make them better than there’s any reason for them to want to be. You don’t want competent veteran leadership for full of people you’re looking to replace with picks. I’m not trying to win 29 games when I can win 16 Even with the lottery system
