I know he played PF, but Duncan is your prototypical center. KG gives you more versatility at the 4. If I was forced to list Duncan a power forward and just made a team strictly off most deserving he would make it.

Best defensive player in toughest era to defend. Tough times for the trolls

Putting a Rudy / dray combo in there instead of like Hakeem / Rodman, or Wilt / Garnett, or Russell / Duncan is a travesty and eliminates your all time defensive team from contention.

Draymond and gobert both guard in space while not being able to touch the opponent. The old guys didnt have to do that

Hakeem and Rodman and Garnett and Russell could easily guard in space.

Duncan and Wilt could too... do you seriously think Gobert is more mobile than young Wilt Chamberlain? Guy had olympic level athleticism measurables while being half as goofy as Rudy from coordination perspective.
