Are the Lakers just destined for the time being to be average

Beyond LeBron and Luka, what do you think of the Lakers roster this season?

LeBron is presumably retiring any season now. Luka is great on offense but subpar on defense. Austin Reeves to me looks like a good six man but I don't know how much I count on him as a third star. I'm not a Deandre Ayton.

They should be competitive but who won the roster has the ability to get lately better this season?

Well, they have $50 million a year in dead weight hanging around their neck, so yeah, they're pretty much destined to underachieve until they get rid of it.
