Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKwMU0u5SVg
He did it again against the same team and its the same injury that caused him to miss the rest of the season.
The latest is that is a severely sprained right knee with a MRI tomorrow to check for structural damage.

Last year he dislocated the kneecap on his left knee. This injury bent his right knee back in a hyper extension. He should find out tomorrow how bad things are, but he certainly did not dislocate his kneecap.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
I Called it Before " Lakers put so much stock on Bynum and he is not battle tested yet" ..

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
His 3rd major knee injury...

Lakers still have Pau Gasol, Kobe Bryant, and Lamar Odom. I think they can survive without Bynum because they have a deeper bench.
By the way Cavaliers are 10-4 without Ilgauskas and West.
Gerald Wallace is rolling in his hospital bed.
Karma: Andrew Bynum...tell me how my ass tastes.
Exactly what I was thinking when I watched him go down.
Who returns first?
Bynum or Wallace
With the way Bynum heals it will probably be Gerald Wallace.
-
Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
Karma for Bynum.
Gerald Wallace from beyond the Grave!!!

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
damn, very very tough luck man. wow, just when he was turning the corner.

Thanks for clearing that up.
But he suffered a brief dislocation of his kneecap and when it happened he was only expected to miss 6-8 weeks but he ended up missing the entire season.
The dude just doesnt heal correctly.
Mark Sanchez suffered a brief dislocation of his kneecap and was ready to start the season in 3 weeks.
Please don't mention the size and weight difference because although size and weight matter the amount of pressure on the knees can vary for each size of person.

Isn't this the same way it happened last year? First Ariza, then Bynum?
Hopefully it's not a season ending injury 'cause I don't want to hear any excuses from Laker fans this year.
No this means that a Jermaine O'Neal trade is on the horizon.
Last time Bynum went down they acquired Pau Gasol.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
just to save face, lilmarcgasol is going to run out on the court of the blazers vs lakers game and drill oden's knee with a steel cobra.
/praying for greg
in all seriousness, this sucks. i hope it turns out to be a lot less serious than it seems, and that bynum is able to come back soon and have a long and distinguished career.

More power to you Bynum. Initially looked bad.
Laker radio play by play says he will get an MRI in New York on sunday. Lakers next game is vs the Knicks.

Wasn't it the Blazers who took the Lakers out in '92 and went to the Finals against MJ and the Bulls and won the Finals against Dr. J in '77?
So, sorry but we already been there done that.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
Damn, that is messed up for the kid. He went through all those months rehabbing his knee and now he might have to do it all over again--best of luck to him. Maybe it won't be that bad. Injuries suck, though.

The Celtics and their fans have never been classy, I thought everyone knew that. This is why they're not respected, despite winning a championship last year.

A bunch of classless pricks if you ask me.
Being happy about a player getting injured?
Boston/Cleveland fans should, they already know they ain't beating a healthy Laker team. They are just hoping we are depleted like we were in last years playoffs.
-
Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
Anybody got a gif of the injury? I like the kid hope its not serious. This is starting to turn into a really bad trend though for the Lakers.

What do you expect? The majority of Laker fans on this board are douche bags.
-
Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
In all seriousness though, I just want the Celtics to play the Lakers at full strength to see how we match up. Perk and KG had their way with Odom and Gasol last year. I just don't want to hear any excuses this time.
