Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen has been named by NBA Commissioner David Stern to replace injured East All-Star guard Jameer Nelson (torn labrum, right shoulder) of the Orlando Magic in the 2009 NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix. Allen will be making his ninth All-Star appearance.

What a ****ing joke. First, David Stern makes it to where the Lakers are a powerhouse again, then suddenly the Celtics are winning 66 games, and now his beloved big 3 are in the All Star game together.

Mo Williams deserves it more than Ray Allen. Besides, the Celtics already have Paul Pierce and KG. With the record the Cavs have right now, they certainly deserve to have more than 1 all-star.

He just didn't deserve to make this all star team. Plain and simple.
Ray Allen should only be considered a 6 time All-Star. No one has ever gotten that much love from the commissioner before.
At least put an asterisk next to his All-Star appearances.

Allen is a glorified role player who got the nod because he plays for Boston. Anywhere else and he doesn't get the nod.

Ray 18 ppg on 50FG%/41 3ptfg%/90ft% compared to
Mo 17/4 apg as a pg while shooting 46% from the feild and 40 from 3
However, you have to take note that Ray has arguably been the best Celtic tis year while at most Mo is the 2nd best Cav. Ray easily deserves to be on the team over the likes of Mo williams.

That doesn't make much sense. If he was anywhere else, he would have better numbers, thus an even greater reason for him to be an all-star. He is way more than a role player by the way.

Because C's have three stars and the rest are role players, bar Rondo who is a good solid PG. The Cav's have one phenom, two good players and the phenom drags the rest with him.
