Trevor Ariza swings elbow at DeRozan, gets ejected

this guy should be suspended!! That was just uncalled for! Very unprofessional

Ariza was having a terrible game, 0-9 from the field, he got pissed and threw an elbow towards DeMar DeRozan's head. The elbow didn't connect, but the refs reviewed the play and decided to eject him anyways.

demar poked the ball outta arizas hands at the 3 point line, ball went up in the air, demar grabbed and was starting to run when ariza threw the elbow. pure frustration as he couldnt do sh*t all game, suspension is definite imo...

hopefully we can get a full video posted of the incident soon.

:oldlol: good point but there is a difference in throwing one when fighting for the ball and throwing it when the other guy has his back to you and is moving away from you. he would have got him in the back of the head if he connected.

This is not the only game Ariza has sucked. he's had many games like this.

It's not like Ariza's regression is that surprising. He can't dribble/create his own shot. Still a hell of a role player who plays good defense on occasion though.

Basically. It shouldn't come to a surprise to anyone really that Ariza can not be a legit #1 option. It would be like asking Bruce Bowen, Shane Battier or even Tayshaun Prince to be the top option.

after the cavs loss to the rockets there was this article explaining why Ariza chose houston over the cavs; he wanted more touches and opportunities to showcase his game. Glad to see it's working out. :oldlol:
