My scouting skills are awful :oldlol: . I was completely on that train that Cousins issues were overblown and it'd be nice to have that emotion in today's game. I've been completely wrong thus far.

Still think if he pieces his talent together John Wall will be the only one in this draft class who you'd consider better. I bet i'll be wrong about that too tho.

Cousins needs to chill out for real. He thinks this is back in high school or Kentucky where he can just slouch but slouching can only carry you a short distance. I'm really rooting for him because i think he has a huge potential but if he doesn't check his attitude and also doesn't try produce, he's not going to be in the league that long. You're in a perfect situation. You are getting paid millions to play a game you grew up on even though your on a small market team(which means less scrutiny). You can get all the girls you want. All you've got to do is show up to practice and try hard.
I could understand if the coach was an ass, but there hasn't been any indication that Westpal is a d1ck.

I watched the game the other night when he got two quick fouls ...
you could see he kind of blew a head gasket..

And you know why :

HE is trying to hard , as the Kings announcer stated.

He isn't where he is unless his competitive juices are flowing on high octane.
Once he dials it down , and lets the game come to him , your going to see a very good player.

He is young , and he will learn.
I hope Westphal can handle him , because all you have to do is look at a young Shawn Kemp , or Garnett and that should explain everything.

I understand why the Kings may have justified hiring his high school coach... but that was potentially one of the worst things they could have done. They planted the seed in the kids head that they'll bend over backwards as an organization to work around his bullshit. It's like a kid testing the limits of their parents patience at this point. How many cookies can this dude steal from the cupboard before Sacramento write him off as a discipline case and either bench him or give him the boot?

Kid has great upside and is an ideal complement to the Kings rebuilding process but I'd rather him get lost than put Sacramento's growth in jeopardy.

The Nets were convinced that Favors was the man. They didn't really entertain Cousins, despite his obvious superior touch with the ball. Cousins vowed to make everybody who passed him over pay - and they played the Nets two times within the first two weeks. Favors, a considered project outplayed him in one game. Then it became aparent that Cousins wasn't going to be in the ROY race after Blake showed athletic madness and Wall showed that he probably is the fastest to every play the game. Slowly but surely Cousin's motivation shows some deterioration.

We need more good big men so I hope he isn't an Eddy Curry.

This kid has talent, but he needs to be around some STRONG leadership. And I don't mean just a strong coach. I mean some NBA vets who will put the youngster in his place. Nobody on Sacramento is going to do that.
