Just wanted to post that pic:oldlol:
He's going to be so out of shape...
good thing basketball is still 5 on 5 and not 10 or something
Over/Under on Technicals is set at 20
Too many bigs.. where do all the minutes go?
Wouldn't be surprised to see KG play SF against the Lakers/Bulls some. Also I'm sure half of their front court will be fouled out vs Miami
Good thing he's coming back midseason because if he started from game 1 he would probably end up suspended the entire postseason due to too many techs
Over/Under on Technicals is set at 20
Under Im gonna go with 15.
It'll be interesting to see what happens if all their bigs are healthy. Shaq, Perkins, Rasheed, Jermaine, Big Baby, Garnett
Unless he's in shape, no thanks.
Who are we getting rid of anyway? Our roster is full.
why leave if its to come back huh?
Honestly if he can play at the level he did last season then he is probably going to get Jermaine's minutes at center

Send Luke to the dleague.
With a injured KG..I'd rather see Sheed get the start over Big Baby.
I guess it's Glen's turn to get injured after KG comes back, so they want to back him up with Sheed. Their injury rotation is really confusing me lately.
Seems like a bit of an overkill to me. Don't get me wrong, Sheed would be a great addition to many teams but the Celtics are already stacked up front. Big Baby has been playing great and I would have a hard time believing Sheed would be more productive than him. With Shaq/Perkins/JO you have a great solid C rotation already. I just can't see how this works out with everyone being happy. They would all expect to play, except JO I guess.

Does he not still count as our player even if he's in the D League?
Big Baby has been playing great
Missed the last couple of games, huh?
I suppose, we'd absolutely nail Dwight down with Sheed/Perk/Shaq

I think the Celtics are mostly built on the "for the team" type thing. So it wouldn't really be an issue.
I would rather see Sheed playing again with Rip, Chauncey and Melo on the Nets if ever that trade happened.
It's like 2004 Pistons reunion + Melo :pimp:
No Sheed just wants to protect his title for technical fouls
KG
Shaq
Perk
JO
Davis
Sheed
Erden
Too many....at least 1 (Erden) will have to sit...

Are you saying he hasn't been playing great this year? He's struggled a bit the past few games, so what. He plays much better as a reserve anyway which he will be when Garnett gets back.
And yes, that would be quite the Dwight neutralizing crew.
My face right now:

If he does come back (I'm not so sure of this) I'd guess that the pt victim is Erden, with Perk taking a real long time to return.
Going to be a weird rotation, but definitely makes things interesting.

Yeah off the bench he has, I'll give you that. He does need to understand that he shouldn't be taking 12 jump shots a game, though.
Shit. The Celtics effectively kill two birds with one stone. They get 'Sheed back, and Jermaine goes to the bench. As a Laker fan this is terrible news; as a 'Sheed fan I can't wait to see how many techs he can accumulate in half a season. :oldlol:

I guess. I'm just wary about Shaq/Perkins/Sheed all sharing minutes. I think it would be all right like you said but all those guys have some big egos as well. Basically, I just don't see Sheed helping them too much. They are all-ready imo the favorites if all healthy; they don't need him.

And they can call the reunion "Darko: Had he not happened"

I imagine it will be
Shaq-20 minutes
Perkins-15 minutes
Sheed-15 minutes
KG-32 minutes
Davis-15 minutes
something like that

Thats boyband material right there
Maybe they pick up 'Sheed, then trade Erden and/or Harangody and/or Bradley for Jeff Green or T-Mac?

Perkins for Green works :D

Black street boys!
Well, "street" makes them sound thug, and they are certainly not. What about "Black beach boys"?

And I look at it this way
Perk is out for another month at least, Sheed will take at least that long to get in the shape he was in last year (unless he kept working out), so he'll get some minutes now maybe, and by the time Perkins gets back he'll be settled in. Then after that they can work Jermaine out of the rotation or lessen his minutes heavily.

hes still on your roster, even if you send him to the d-league. you would have to cut him entirely.
J.O. is done. Watching him try to run and jump is painful. No way are the Celtics assuming he will be healthy for the Playoffs. Shaq and KG have also shown to be injury prone as of late, so I'm sure they can find plenty of minutes for Sheed.

Or trade him for Jeff Green! http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=48soner Green/Ivey for JO/Gody.
