Wade falling apart at 30, while Kobe at 34 ....
after 17 seasons is performing like he is right now.
While I dont give a shit about the whole "who is better" aspect....This is something you need to look at in terms of longevity with players, and their 'greatness'.
Kobe's peers are NOT on his level anymore, and Wade, who is YOUNGER is declining at a pretty serious rate lately.
What say you?

Re: Wade falling apart at 30, while Kobe at 34 ....
Wade looks fine to me physically. His issues are all mental right now.

Re: Wade falling apart at 30, while Kobe at 34 ....
Damn OTH I thought you were a good Lakers fan. Just another mamba apostle after all. We get it "Be" is the "GOAT GAWD".
-
Re: Wade falling apart at 30, while Kobe at 34 ....
shit is frustrating, he is not hungry at all. everything about him is relaxed and lazy
-
Re: Wade falling apart at 30, while Kobe at 34 ....
I say we hear about this same thing every single day so you don't need to make a thread about. Jesus Christ the dick riding on this forum is unbearable.
-
Re: Wade falling apart at 30, while Kobe at 34 ....
I say Kobe had some illegal procedures done on him.
Wade is dumb enough not to follow suit.

Ill always say this...
The guys who play at a high level for a long period pf time are those that have a scientific approach to the game.
These are the players who rely on skill and savvy moreso than athletic gifts to dominate. Take a look at Paul Pierce for instance.
Kobe made sure he did what Jordan did, changing his game as his athleticism declined. Guys like Kobe, Melo and Pierce last forever while the Wades, LeBrons and McGradys burn out

I call it like I see it dude. Im watching Kobe running around out there, and im saying to myself....either this dude is on steroid of some kind, or he sold his soul to the devil, because at 34 years old, 17 seasons in, he shouldnt be doing the shit he's doing out there.
He's declined in various areas, but it's pretty fu*king impressive.

Trying to subtly put Melo over LeBron. I'll give you credit for trying. LeBron is much more skilled than people want to give him credit for anyways.

Paul Pierce is also another good example. Yes.

Re: Wade falling apart at 30, while Kobe at 34 ....
Wade also doesn't have to carry this team any longer. That's not an excuse, but I'm pretty sure he's happy playing with Lebron.

This is what happens when you lack fundamentals kids.
Don't idolize your derrick rose or russel westbrook for too long.

Yeah, didn't deny that. Kobe's also an all-time great, just like LeBron. Melo on the other hand...
And stop insulting Kobe by comparing Melo to him :facepalm

I know that feel (somewhat) at least. Not my ex gf, per se, but a girl I had a few dates with and was a close friend driving me crazy. Women smh

Re: Wade falling apart at 30, while Kobe at 34 ....
put Wade and Pau Gasol on the same team, that would be funny to watch. 2 all stars with absolutely no hunger in them

Actually Kobe said himself Melo is the closest thing the NBA to him in terms of playing style. Since youre so good at looking things up verify the quote yourself
And how do you manage 11,000 posts in 1 year

13 year olds posting at school, on their phone, and at home.
Why else do you think he doesn't know what fundamentals are.
He's never seen an nba player from the start of a career to the end and how playstyles affect a player's longevity towards the later part of his career.

Well, it's not like anybody will idolize Tim Duncan, even though they could learn a lot of fundamentals from him.

I can get Kobe (sort off), but Melo and Pierce over Duncan in terms of fundamentals ?

pretty much nobody in the nba should be compared with kobe
whether it be what hes done or what hes doing right now at his age. no one in the league can touch it with a 10 foot pole
nobodies like kobe. nobody in the league will even come close to his 5 titles. let alone jordans 6
and nobody will ever come close to the longevity kobe has.
after kobe breaks kareems record. itel never be broken again because highschool to nba was banned and the best players coming up are nearly entirely dependant on flashy non fundimental body dominance and physical advantages.
and the bigger you are the harder/faster your body slows and forces you become a post player
i dont see much of a banging post game out of durant. and when his speed is gone. hes finished. same for lebron... and wades already done
[/B]

hey kenny I hope you know that lebron is honestly better than kobe

Don't wake the kids up. They haven't seen any player's entire career played out. They think when you are on top of the world, you stay there.
These kids are the same kids who watched vince carter win those dunk contests and think he is the next jordan.

Never said OVER Tim Duncan, just forgot to add his name. But then again most young players coming up will be from the 1 to 3 positions; most people arent 6"11 so watching Duncan wouldnt be necessary.
Since were on the topic Webber back in his Sactown days would be a great big man for kids to idolize also. High and low post, above average ball handling which allowed him to take slower big guys off the dribble, the court vision etc

I disagree with the part about Durant though.
He has his height and his jumpshot. If anything he'll go down the path of Kobe, and not like Wade/Bron.
-
Re: Wade falling apart at 30, while Kobe at 34 ....
Yea Wade is not playing like himself, and he's injury prone. but he's still more unselfish than Kobe.

I think you're just biased. (Happens to haters)
He said to ignore the "who is better" debate,
Just simply look at how they are performing.
One guy, should be priming it, is looking like a shell of his former self.
While the other guy, who should look like a shell of his former self, is looking great.

Of course I'm biased, everyone on this whole damn site is to some extent outside of a very few select posters. Of course Kobe is better than Wade right now, that's not exactly hard, though.

you were supposed to be a tmac fan but you were unmasked to be another stupidass lebron fan so you of all people can't talk.
I think wade is just coasting and leaving himself healthy for the playoffs. Well see in April who's done and who's not. Wade is still a beast now though...

*****, don't tell me who I am. T-Mac is my boy for life, no one talks about him on here except for me and a few other posters. LeBron is my 2nd favorite and he is incredibly relevant, so of course I'm going to talk more about him.

For me, it should have been hard. Outside of a select few years, they've been very close to each other IMO.
They should still be the top 2 SG's in the game, trying to duke it out for #1 SG spot.
I hate that these threads are still here to remind us of it over and over again, like damn...
