Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
If KG makes it as a starter the Celts are likely to get 3 All-Stars. If the record doesn't get a lot better that will inspire quite a bit of bitching.
Wow **** Jeremy Lin..
If he's not top 2 it doesn't matter. Westbrook will be a reserve.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
Dwight a starter? WTF HE DOESNT DESERVE TO EVEN MAKE THE TEAM
4 players in LA starting in the west.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
wow if lin catches paul im gonna break the internet
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
Everyone vote for Chris Paul.
Yao got tons of votes but he was a great player when healthy. Jeremy Lin isn't and it would be a shame if he got the All-Star appearance.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
This is a joke. Basically all people did is look at the poll and ask themselves, "O who iz on da Heatz or da LakerzzZzz?" I mean honestly Shane Battier? Metta World Peace? Ray Allen? Pau Gasol? Get the hell out of here this is why I hate big market teams they're spoiled.
If he's not top 2 it doesn't matter. Westbrook will be a reserve.
How does it work? Westbrook is fifth, how does he get to be a reserve over Lin?
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
It would be funny to see Lin make the all star team. but yeah a lot of great players so far are getting snubbed like Parker, Mayo, Varejao, Lopez, Josh Smith over guys who aren't that good or are still on the injured reserve.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
How does it work? Westbrook is fifth, how does he get to be a reserve over Lin?
because coaches will vote for him

Why are you so surprised? It happened last year.

Fans vote starters, coaches pick reserves.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
Time for me to vote for Lin and Asik.
They are the most non-deserving players that actually have a chance. Fans should be more united to screw the voting system up.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
As much as I hate to say this, the NBA is becoming a joke. The sad thing is these same fans that voted will influence Stern to make new rules.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
9-13 team with 2 All-Star starters. :oldlol:

Stern will make it happen. what will LA's excuse be when they solve their PG problem when all 4 lakers + CP are on the court.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
varajoe gettin snubbed in the votes... not surprised though.
but bynum and amare :facepalm
fans suck haha
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
C'mon....we have to get Jeremy Lin voted in.....just to see if what David Stern will do.
I gotta be honest, I think its rigged anyway.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
Miami about to have 4 All-Stars this year.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
Good to see Lin is behind right now. But it goes to show...if Lin is playing well, he's gonna make it. Obviously, if he's playing like Linsanity then there's no problem, even if another guy should be ahead...but if Houston stops trying to hide him he's starting.
If KG makes it as a starter the Celts are likely to get 3 All-Stars. If the record doesn't get a lot better that will inspire quite a bit of bitching.
If KG makes it there's a real chance that Paul Pierce loses his spot.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
comeon china, i expected better results
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
This just goes to show how useless all-star appearances are in judging players worth.. What an embarrassment.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
If KG makes it there's a real chance that Paul Pierce loses his spot.
Pierce isn't a lock but he's a hair under 20 ppg and the coaches have voted for him 10 of the last 11 seasons. A 3 All-Star team should be better but the record will still be over .500 at the current pace. The coaches will support him again barring a major change in his performance.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
I really really really hope Lin wins that starting spot.
Would be hilarious when they show his stats on the screen.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
What an undeserving Western squad.

Pierce's scoring will go higher because I believe his shooting % will get better. I also don't believe that Rivers will be forever incapable of realizing some of his team's problems...not to mention that the Celtics should make a move at C, improving the team completely. But 3 all-stars is a lot.

Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
Who the *%$# is voting for Howard??! Just stop it please!!! Duncan deserves to be a starter this year. And Lee isn't even one of the top 15 vote getters for the front court of the west? I don't get it!
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
Wow, what a joke.
Thankgod fans dont vote for reserves too. Lack of David Lee was obvious, Lin getting the shitty votes and ZBo barely getting any were also equally obvious.
Hope Harden makes it so we dont have 4 starters from LA at least.
EDIT: Just noticed Shane Battier and ****ing World Peace, casual bandwagon fans at their finest....

Need to ban foreigners. Lin with that many... wow.
-
Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
Also, Omer Asik can thank Jeremy Lin. Harden benefiting too probably.

Just voted for Lin, will do so again tomorrow.

Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
I'm auto-voting for Lin on my dedicated server every 30 minutes using uBot. I have 100 proxies loaded + thousands more on my VPN!

Re: First All-Star Ballot Returns
Jeremy Lin is the face of the NBA. Based God Lin.

Paul George should make it over Ray Allen

Westbrook should be the starter.
