I think he is pretty talented. Too early to call, but my first thought was he is a bit overrated.

Well yah Kobe plays the same way as Jordan.
Kobe as Nas is a bad comparison. Nas' best album was his first one, Illmatic. Kobe wasn't even good enough to start for the Lakers when he came to LA. Plus who even talks about Nas anymore? Im sure there are way better comparisons.

No I am not, J. Cole is boring as hell. Dude's been talking about the struggle and it's the only thing he's rapped about since his first two mix tapes (which were way better than any of his albums). OVERRATED.
Kobe is more like Eminem...raised by Dre (Shaq) :roll:
Kobe tries to emulate Jordan in literally every facet of his life, right down to his mannerisms and voice tone. So of course the little kids are going to say something like this.
If Wiggins turns out to be J.Cole, then he certainly won't live up to the next Jordan, or even next Kobe, comparison... J.Cole is great, but Kendrick Lamar is on a different level. His rap feels more sincere, spontaneous... he's deeper without trying as hard, and manages to touch something beyond himself. The classic definition of a genius, whereas J.Cole is "only" someone who does his job really, really well.
Jordan would be Nas or maybe Tupac, and LeBron Kanye. Kobe as Eminem works well too.
But anyway, back on topic, it's not like Wiggins is saying anything blasphemous, really... It's pretty much consensus opinion that Kobe is the closest thing to Jordan we've seen, regardless of what one thinks about him.

they had something called VHS even back when Jordan played. You might wanna look that up.
You dont get as good as Wiggins without knowing or seeing film of the greatest who has ever played your respective sport or activity. The same way an upcoming heavyweight boxer would watch film of Ali, Tyson, Foreman, Frazier, etc. People acting like its impossible in the Youtube era

It's different for a soon to be #1 pick who is perfecting said craft and actually studying/taking context and sport history/shot clock situation/ on court demeanor/ defensive strategy into account, than a fat homer stan trying to win a Kobe/Lebron/Jordan argument.
