Isaiah Thomas?
No love for Isiah.
Surprise surprise, The Tweener Award goes to another tweener.
I think he deserved it.
Plus Drake predicted it.
Good on you Sweet Lou. Had himself a bounce back season and was arguably are best player through a number of wins this year. Now let's get it done where it matters...
This award never made sense to me.You can start from the bench but average more minutes than a starter.
Drake didn't predict anything, he influenced the vote.
It's a shame Kyle needed JB to get voted as a starter for the ASG and Lou needs Drake to win 6MOTY. Not fair for the rest of the league.

Yeah he did predict it. Listen to 6 Man by Drake.
Yeah because Drake has an impact on how end of the year player awards are distributed.

yes playing in toronto gives you such an unfair advantage

Was waiting for this :oldlol:
Well deserved. IT only played 21 games off the bench for the Celtics (who have a much worse record than the Raptors), so Lou was the clear winner for the award.

Where is this from?
Lou's impact on the Raps is profound sometimes. Dude just goes off when nothing else works but it also makes you delusional as a fan because you start thinking he's a monster that can always bail you out but that isn't always the case. Either way, I can never get mad at him unlike bitch ass Ross.
Where is this from?
From the movie Captain Phillips. People think he looks like the Somali pirate in the gif above. It circulated the Web enough to the point where Lou himself made a tweet saying he wasn't Somalian or something lol

So in other words, he's like JR smith?

Captain Phillips.
Lou doesn't approve this though. :D

He does look Somali tho from the hair to the face. Just not as ugly as dude from the movie

always thought lou williams was a Somalian pirate
this confirms i'm not the only one
6 man like Louu will!!
Yeah he did predict it. Listen to 6 Man by Drake.
I know the song dumbass, Drake influenced the vote within a tight 6MOTY race by making Lou a household Twitter name.
yes playing in toronto gives you such an unfair advantage
It does compared to less notable markets. Two of the biggest entertainers in the States are from Canada on Drake and Justin. They have a major fanbase on their own in the social media world that overshadows that of an average NBA fanbase and rivals the big named franchises.

You must have issues. Drake can't single handedly influence someone to win 6man of the year. It was obvious for a while that Lou Williams was going to win it.
Also, just because I refered you to a song gives you no reason to call me a dumbass. Grow up

Louuu

I don't disagree with you sir

Ok? He came off the bench in Phoenix too, but im fine with either him or Lou winning it.
6th man like louuuuu willllllll
There were several viable candidates this year. Good for him.
Fairly weak year for 6th man candidates tbh but I'm glad Lou won, he deserved it :applause:
Well deserved.
I kneeeww it would end up like this, I'm f*cking psychic.

:applause:
Raptors had the #1 ORTG in the league with Lou Williams on the court. They were below the league average when he was off the court. You add into the fact that DeRozan and Lowry missed quiet a bit of time this year and the fact he's the most efficient guard overall, while being a huge reason to the number of victories his teams have... very deserving.
Nothing against the other candidates, but I think Lou was just more impactful.
Now, better pick it up in the playoffs (along with Kyle and DeMar).
