Why have we selected these specifically though?

I think he has the highest ppg average in elimination game history

Elimination Games when his team won the games. But last year vs. the Warriors 32 points, 18 rebounds, 9 assists vs. the Warriors in game 6.

You can check his stats, and LeBron played great against the Magic in 2009, against the Celtics in 2008 and 2009, and against the Warriors in 2015.

He was like the only decent scoring option of the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. LeBron in 2015 > Kobe in the 2000, 2004, and 2008 NBA Finals.

He isn't.
Kobe is a career 39%fg shooter in elimination games
Lebron is at 44% if I'm not mistaken.
While averaging 10 more ppg in elimination games than Kobe.

Re: Lebron James in Elimination Games
Lebron let his team down twice to collude with some of the best players in the league and still lost 4 out of 6 times. He had some epic choke jobs (for example 2011, when he god outscored by Jason fcking Terry or 2015, when he shot 39% on 33FGA) to ruin his own legacy.

Some really abysmal loses in there.
The games against the Suns (06), Celtics (08) and Dallas (2011) were particularly egregious. It was as if he gave up completely. No energy or passion.

Lebron, MJ, and Wilt are the top-3 ppg players in NBA post-season history, in must-win games.
Those who claim that Lebron and Wilt "choked" in their post-seasons are complete idiots.

Why put Wilt in the same sentence as lebron.
Lebron is miles better. There's a reason lebron is a 28 ppg scorer in the playoffs while Wilt is at a pathetic 22 ppg.
And a 26 ppg in finals when Wilt is an even more pathetic 18%.

And there was a reason a "scoring" Chamberlain averaged 33 ppg in his post-season career, including four 50+ point games, three of which came in "must win" games. Not to mention that he was a FAR greater defensive force and rebounder. Included were post-seasons of 33 ppg, 35 ppg, 35 ppg, and 37 ppg. And post-season series of 37 ppg, 37 ppg, 39 ppg, and 39 ppg.
And a scoring Wilt, also posted a 29-28 .517 FG% (in a post-season NBA that shot .420 overall BTW), in his one Finals...and against the GOAT defensive center, and greatest dynasty in NBA history. Of course, he had multiple 30+ series against that same player and team in the post-season, as well...including a seven game series of 30-31 and on a .555 FG% (in a post-season that shot .429 overall.)
GOAT.

And yet he still only has 22 ppg in playoffs and 18 ppg in finals.
Lebron dwarfs him on the biggest stage.

Chamberlain won a FMVP in a Finals in which he scored 19 ppg, and would have been a unanimous FMVP, had the award existed, in a Finals in which he averaged 18 ppg. How come?

Last time I checked, in ACTUAL "must win" playoff games...
Lebron 31.8 ppg, Jordan 31.3 ppg, and Wilt 31.1 ppg.
BTW, Chamberlain played in 23 absolute "must win" playoff games, but in his "must win" and "series clinching games", he played in 37 (24-13 W-L), and averaged 29.9 ppg, 26.1 rpg, 4.2 apg, and on a .546 FG%.
