I got those in 2001 and 2003. The silver on gray was a limited release and each one tagged. I got pair 111 out of 25000
I'm waiting for the rereleases of these. If the Royals are copping $500 now I'll sit and wait for the patents to be rereleased and drop them then.

Re: For those of you lining up to buy the Air Jordan 1 Royal Blue
Where's that idiot Bless who claimed I knew nothing about Jordans?
And what did say about the Motorsports? Sell out in a day.
Here's a pic at Champs yesterday. Still have a full size run

What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, that's in a store?? That many retro's??
Whaaaat...
-
Re: For those of you lining up to buy the Air Jordan 1 Royal Blue
You got the 4's, 5's, 6's, low 11', 13's.....of all the stores I've been in, they never had that many retros at one time. Where do you live for them to be sitting like that (especially black cats)?

Champs in Philadelphia.
Like I said in another thread. Jordans are dead. They aren't as prestigious as they used to be. People have migrated to Adidas. NMDs and Yeezy's are what people are looking for and playing in either Boosts or KD, Kobe, or Brons.

No they aren't dead, Jordan's sell out where I live. Not EVERY pair, but popular ones definitely do...like black cats, the white 13's, and white 5's at your champs. Those were available here for a short time.
Your area is an anomaly.
Tampa Bay area.
:wtf: go to Miami then
Or better yet come up here to PA or New York to get your fill
You must have low end Champs in you area if you still can't get these. Dude, I've been collecting since the 90's so nothing I would say is an anomaly. You must have low end shoe shops in Tampa.

The same amount of people who wear KD, Kobe's, Kyrie, Curry's in the mall you fruit cake. People who wear basketball shoes in a mall don't have a clue. Kind of like you
FYI peeps, Bless has no clue that Yeezy's and NMD'S are popular

Yea, very low end. They don't even have the capital to buy a building, so champs and foot locker sell their shoes on stands like in a flea market.
I can't believe hater just told me to come up to cursed Philly to buy shoes :oldlol:

More people wear Jordan's than Lebrons, Kyrie, curry, whatever combined. Philly is like a foreign country man, seems like :oldlol:
NMD's are probably more popular world wide (not in staates), but still I rarely see people rocking em (I myself got an all white pair).
I don't BALL in J's, I rock em for style. I ball in Kyrie 2's. So if you're talking about that, maybe you're right. Retro's are much more for fashion these days.

Like I said bro. Come up to Philly and get your fill. Even New York. We are the basketball and urban mecca. You don't have them in your city then you got to tell your stores they need to step up. Philly is more American then Tampa. Jus saying. Saying Philly is more foreign than Tampa sounds just wrong. Especially the shoe game.

So Yeezy's are from the 90's? Never seen that.
Like i said, come to the shoe belt. You'll be blown away. You guys in Tampa seem to be back in the 90's. People still rock J's here. Just saying they are a lot more accessible.

Re: For those of you lining up to buy the Air Jordan 1 Royal Blue
Seriously who wears Jordans?
I stopped buying when he retired.
I only buy the models and colors the man actually wore with the exception of a few blacked out styles.
Good to collect but not wear today.

ITS AT LEAST 10-1 PEOPLE WEARING J's TO BRONS

That's not what I was referring to, I was referring to where you said Philly and NY was the mecca for urban culture.
BTW, Philly has never been that :oldlol:
You can go into anystore RIGHT NOW and buy ultraboost, 180 whatever color. Can't do the same for the 6's or 13's that are available in your champs.

Hater's on some shit today.

It just means you guys in Tampa are way behind
Sure you can find boost and 180s anywhere but a limited drop gets way more hype behind them. The term hypebeast was coined because of current Adidas NMD shoe culture. I just showed a pic of a local Champs where there is crazy availability for Jordan's. Go online right now and see what Zebra Yeezy's are going for. You're in the 4 digits. Jordan's are not anywhere in that range.
Sorry but if you're talking shoe culture Philly is way more advanced than anywhere in Florida. We invented urban culture in the upper east coast.
When did you start collecting? Jeff made me the shoe admin for a reason. Ain't gonna argue about it anymore but I think I had skin in the game even before you became a member. That fact that Bless is backing you doesn't speak volumes
-
Re: For those of you lining up to buy the Air Jordan 1 Royal Blue
Jordans aren't dead lol. They just mass produce most their pairs now so just about anyone who wants a pair, can get one (depending on where you live). Which is great. I think they sold over a million Space Jams. Years ago, most people would have missed on these Royals. Now I see more than expected got lucky and found a pair.
Of course Zebra yeezys resell is high because of very limited availability. You can't compare that to mass produced Jordans, definitely not Motorsport 4s lol. Check the resell on the KAWS x Jordan IV if you want to compare high resell prices

Re: For those of you lining up to buy the Air Jordan 1 Royal Blue

What's a 180, shoe admin? Is that a special adidas shoe that Philly invented?
Because if you're referencing that from my post, that's the price of ultra boosts. You still wanna talk about how much you know about the shoe game?

"I have more money than you, mehehehe"
I don't wanna lower my standards and start a "I have more money than you" argument, because that shit's petty af.
Lemme just say this - it's easy to be able to afford 200-300 dollar shoes when you're the only person in your life. You don't have friends to spend that money on (food, drinks, being a host), you damn sure don't have a girlfriend ( but you have backpage, sets you back like 80-100 per). You aren't investing your money into anything meaningful, and you still drive around in a 2001.

Hateraid is a fraud.
In philly doe, hOard ass niggahs don't play dominoes or rock J's any more. They play no limit (like on tv) and rock adidas
And wear adidas while playing no limit at the same time.

Ok smOart guy.
How much money would it take to keep up with a year's worth of YEEZYS
How much for a year's worth of j's?
Yea. That's what I thought clown boy.
Your Philly is Lilly white where you play no limit for money.
FUCCIN sad. Real real sad
Hateraid the REAL HONKEY

Re: For those of you lining up to buy the Air Jordan 1 Royal Blue
Philly is home of urban culture ,
But
If you don't type proper, you are an idiot.

Proves by taking a picture of an entire wall of j's, that's what the people want
Of course some exclusive YEEZYS are gonna go for that.
Seriously think
What if they only dropped 2, 3 pairs of j's a year???!!!!???

They'd go for MINIMUM 4 figures.
Hateraid is a tool. And doesn't know basic biness.
No one checking for YEEZYS or brons.
Bottom line niggah s cop j's times 10
