Was Mo Williams a legit all star
Or
Was it a weak conference?
2009 was actually one of the rare seasons the East wasn't weak. There were 3 legit teams in the Cavs, Magic, and if KG hadn't been injured, the Celtics, who nearly made the ECF without him anyway.
And Mo wasn't even voted or selected originally, he made it as an injury replacement. Matter of fact, he was the SECOND injury backup selected, so yeah, he def wasn't a legit all-star :lol
Option D: Lebron elevated his bum ass to look above average.
Mo wasnt an all star
He was a replacement for Allen
Williams is about as legit of an all star as BJ Armstrong
So LeBron almost won 70 games with BJ Armstrong as his sidekick :applause:

and got upset as the heavy favorite with homecourt getting outplayed by Dwight who was actually playing D:applause: oh and Dwight was missing his allstar PG and they had to put an and-1 player in the lineup:applause:

LeBron averaged 38/8/8 that series how df did he get outplayed :lol

Lebron got balled on with homecourt by Dwight Howard and skip to my Lou

Ding ding ding, we have a winner.
Before Mo, Cavs front office asked Lebron who he wanted of the available talent and he literally said "Larry Hughes"

He lost with HCA to Dwight
The LeBron Effect

And LeBron somehow got to the finals with Larry Hughes as his second option
Otoh MJ missed the playoffs with Hughes as his 3rd option :(

What did he do in Game 6 again?
I voted both

And yet you have lebron ranked 11th all time. No one takes anything you say seriously. We already exposed this account of yours. :lol
That’s an awfully long way to say “Eastern Conference was weak with talent”
I see you forgot to vote, I’ll just chalk you up for option 2 then.
Nigguh that was 4 sentences. Let's go with the idea that the East had weak talent, then the fact Mo didn't get voted in, wasn't selected by the coaches, and wasn't even the first injury replacement speaks volumes about what a scrub he was
What did he do in Game 6 again?
Kobe averaged worse elimination game numbers than that for his career :oldlol:

All you had to say was the East was weak with star talent.
SouBeachTalents, the Kobetard killer
Popped in real quick to put my cigarette out. I'll be on my way now.

Oh, so Kobe constantly got outplayed by Dwight Howard in elimination games? That's good to know.
Oh, so Kobe constantly got outplayed by Dwight Howard in elimination games? That's good to know.
Kobe's been outplayed by the likes of Ben Wallace, Leandro Barbosa, Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol, Ron Artest and Peja Stojakovic in elimination games, while LeBron's the GOAT elimination game player

Jason Terry.
Jason Terry.
That's true, Jason Terry has too. Nice addition :applause:

Number of playoff series Kobe has been outscored by Jason Terry?

Kobe managed to outscore Terry, I'll give him that. Still got outplayed by him h2h though
Kobe managed to outscore Terry, I'll give him that. Still got outplayed by him h2h though
Ok I thought you were implying he got outscored by Jason Terry like LeBron did with LeBron playing more minutes in the NBA Finals.

Peja? You mean in 2002, when Peja airballs the three to win the WCF at home and Kobe ends up with 30/10/7? Or when Artest had 7 points as the Lakers held his team to 70 points and won by 29? Oh you mean the 2010 Finals? Kobe and Artest were the two best players in that game because of their lockdown defense, though both shot badly, Kobe took over the 4th to get them the win.
Lebron got outplayed by Draymond Green, it doesn't get any worse than that.
Ok I thought you were implying he got outscored by Jason Terry like LeBron did with LeBron playing more minutes in the NBA Finals.
If lebron wasn't so worn down due to Berea's defense, he would have scored more. He needed more help. Dirk had Berea AND Terry!"
Rather surprised voters would consider the East weak then. You had the Celtics, Magic, Cavs, Bulls
Wade
LeBron
Dwight
Pierce
Garnett
Allen
etc.
Mo Williams was deserving of an All-Star, too good offensively
Mo was an injury replacement, so I mean :confusedshrug:
Also the East was stronger than the West that season if we go by the metric that y'all use here that determines the East being weaker this whole era
Kobe's been outplayed by the likes of Ben Wallace, Leandro Barbosa, Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol, Ron Artest and Peja Stojakovic in elimination games, while LeBron's the GOAT elimination game player
So? Peja was better than Rashard Lewis, but not by much. Lewis was about as worthy of being an All-Star that year as Mo. Which also goes to show how loaded the East was.
Was Mo Williams a legit all star
Or
Was it a weak conference?
I assume you know that the Cavs played better against the west that year right?
Your poll doesn

Dwight's second option was Rashard Lewis
and his third was probably his old high school teammate Jameer Nelson
though both ranged from offering little to no defensive help and the entire defense had to be anchored and orchestrated by Dwight

Jameer Nelson was out for the entire series with an injury
Magic started a literal and1 point guard Rafer Alston and still beat a heavily favored Cavs team
