Spoiler alert:
Dodgers win again.
Freaking Nats. Get covid right before the season starts :lol who knows when the Mets are gonna open now.
watch out for my brew crew this year

Cory "Babe Ruth" Seager for MVP
Gonna try and actually pay attention to the Sox this year. Last year was a disaster. :oldlol:
Pretty encouraged by the Braves yesterday. Aaron Nola had his A+ stuff and Max Fried was like a C+ and we still found a way to keep it close and get it to extras.
Gonna win 95+

The Braves need new ownership. They were one win away from making it to the World Series last year, and they watched as the Dodgers loaded and up and got better in the offseason. Sorry, but adding Morton and Smyly is nothing compared to adding Bauer to that already loaded pitching staff. It was a miracle they signed Ozuna.

The Braves are never going to have the capacity to do what the Dodgers and Yankees do, short of Mark Cuban saying fvck it and deciding to buy the team. It's unfortunate but it is what it is.
Have to bank on Soroka coming back strong and Anderson turning into a stud. If so anything can happen in a 7 game series.

Patty...that's actually my favorite player.

Man I was so right, this series is done. I have to wait till Monday to watch deGrominator
Braves 0-3
I'll take it.
Unless the Phillies turn out to be the real deal.

That was a frustrating ass series. All three of the Phillies starters efficiently tore us up. I don’t think any of them had more than 70 pitches through 6
Babe Ruth Seags off to a .667 start.
BTW I feel like there's more interest in baseball this year than there has been in a while.
Babe Seager is a FA after this season right? I want him on the Braves.
LA would be dumb as hell not to re-sign him, but if he left I could see him going to the Yankees.
LA would be dumb as hell not to re-sign him, but if he left I could see him going to the Yankees.
Yea he grew up a Yankee fan.
And no one but LAD or NYY will pay him they way he’ll want.
Astros sweep A's
8-1
9-5
9-2
9-1
Take that rat, Mike Fiers. Dude had no problem cheating with the Astros and benefitting from it to get a much bigger contract than he would have gotten if he hadn't cheated. Same with hypocrite Gerrit Cole.
Red Sox :facepalm
White Sox could've easily won 3 of 4 vs Angels but actually went 1-3 :( Get 'er done vs Seattle.

Are you really a Braves fan living in NYC? :biggums: gonna cancel your tamahawk chop asap
Randy Arozarena made what will end up being one of the outfield plays of the year tonight in the Sox/Rays game.
Trash ass bullpen and garbage offense blows another degrom start.
So tired of the same old shit.
How I miss the days of Cool Papa Bell, he could really do well. I wonder how he'd fare with some of this snow we've been having.

Yo DeGrom is crazy.
1st game of year and he's throwing 101 easy. :oldlol:

Why did the Mets only have him throw 6 inning of scoreless ball and 3 hits. Only 77 pitches? Seems like he could've easily stayed in longer.

Yeah Braves have been my team since 90. Way before I moved up here.

Unless the radar gun was off, he hit 102 multiple times. The guy is a low-key guy too, unlike that btch Bauer :lol

It was an organization decision. He hadn't pitched in 10 days because of the Nats ineptitude. Better not be an analytics thing (taking pitchers out when they are about to face batters for the 3rd time) since he was dealing, retired 9 in a row. deGrom went 2-3 as well with an RBI. Safe to say he's the best pitcher in baseball. I would have let him go another inning.
Angels fans were super proud of beating the Astros one game, throwing trash cans in celebration.
Less than 24 hours later the Astros break the tie with a 2 run homerun to end the game.
Angels can go suck on that.
Braves with a solid 0-4 start.
Not really worried though, as there has been some horrible luck. Lot of see-eye grounders. Realmuto had 3 RBIs on balls that couldn't have been hit harder than 60 MPH. The Nats scored 2 in the 2nd with 2 outs yesterday without anything being hit hard.
Meanwhile Acuna and Ozzie are hammering balls at people.
Need Fried to pitch like an ace today to stop the bleeding.

Fried and the Braves already getting rocked in the 1st inning. This team is about to be 0-5.

Same shit happening. After Turner's HR Fried struck out Soto but didn't get the call, and then gave up 3 hits that weren't hard hit at all. This game could easily be 2-1.
Braves threatening in the second. This game is far from over.
Okay Braves bats coming alive. Braves up 6-4 now. Hope Fried calmed down.
Just saw a stat that the Braves hitters are 29th in the MLB in BABIP but 6th in exit velocity.
Their pitchers have the highest BABIP in baseball and the lowest exit velocity.
Knew I wasn't imagining this shit.

You would be rooting for those cheaters. :oldlol:
You would be rooting for those cheaters. :oldlol:
You just going to ignore the Red Sox and Yankees both going to mlb that they are cheating with their apple watches? Dodgers also cheating.
I'm sorry the Astros cheated better, but it was made clear by other players that Astros weren't the only ones cheating.
Miguel Cabrera dismisses Astros sign-stealing scandal

Red Sox won the title a year after and they cheated. Astros beat Red Sox, Yankees, Dodgers cheaters head to head.
By the way.... I was an Astros fan back before they were forced to switch leagues by whoever bought the team.
I was Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, Shane Reynolds fan.
2021 bringing MLB to ISH babyy.
Dodgers have the best team in the league with one of the worst closers smh.
I don't feel so bad now about the Braves when you can win 2 games in one day. Soroka is injured again and will likely be out a couple of weeks. Kung Fu Panda coming through in the clutch!!
