Kyrie:
Helped Bron achieve GOAT status.
Destroyed KD's legacy.
Apologized to Bron and desperate to come play with Bron in LA.
Of course we love Kyrie.

Exactly.
Needs to be a third team involved...Lakers don't have enough assets to ship with Brick

they have no choice lol. kyrie has made it clear he's going to lal asap. no one is trading for a 1 yr rental, let alone a 1 yr rental that might decide to not even play for you. bkn knows they have no leverage whatsoever. the holdup up reportedly is bkn wants harris' contract packaged with ky and lal wants curry.
another miserable season incoming for legoat haters.

They do if they take back Harris...apparently that is what the Nets are insisting on.
But it isn't like there is a market for a one year rental of Kyrie in the league. Almost everyone would pass giving up something of value for that.
It is crazy, but this trade needs to happen. Russ and a pick for Kyrie / Harris seems good, but if I was the Lakers, I'd be trying to get Royce as well.

They become a top contender immediately if they lose WB and get Kyrie.

legoat about to lead the lg in assists again...at 38 yrs old.

Seriously? Lebron has been hurt for 4 years. Davis has never been healthy. Kyrie is who he is. Might be better than last year but they are a year older and the west is better after taking a step back last year. Play-in or bust for the 3rd straight year in LA!

Lol I can't wait for the championship cruise threads...and the sinking of it...
People forgetting they're gonna be 7 years past 2016, there's no D, AD is injured and Monk isn't there to help the bail out.
Could somehow be even funnier than last season

You gotta be delusional to think BKY is giving you Curry and Kyrie for the worst contract (literally) in the NBA.

If they literally just remove WB from the team, they probably are a play-in team alone this season. Adding a top level PG even if it's a total dipshit like Kyrie would improve them big time. But yeah, their injury history is a massive question mark. If they're not healthy during the PS, nothing will matter.

It's an expiring contract...that has value, especially when all your draft picks are in Houston.

Lol they're starting to panic.
-
Re: REPORT: Lakers and Brooklyn in Active Talks for Kyrie Trade
So apparently the Lakers don't want Joe Harris and are asking for Seth Curry instead... the absolute balls... lmao.
Imagine... Westbrook + THT for Kyrie, Harris AND Seth... saves the Nets money for the next 2 seasons.
Jokes aside... the Lakers shouldn't **** around with this. Kyrie is an expiring deal and while no team may want him other than the Lakers, that could change at any moment with someone deciding... "**** it... he's on an expiring deal, let's roll the dice" because they sure as shit aren't getting a deal like this for Westbrook to come around again.
Maybe test the water to try to maximize for a day but I'm pulling that trigger sooner than later.

Westbrook has a better contract than Bradley Beal because it's expiring.
Westbrook is going to look a lot better on a team where he dominates the **** out of the ball and he doesn't have the national media attention on him for every single regular season game.
That being said, I have no idea how he co-exists with Simmons... none. What an absolute shitshow that is going to be.
If Westbrook handles the ball... what the **** is Simmons doing on the court offensively? If Simmons handles the ball, Westbrook will look like shit again.

What value does it dummy? Kyrie and Brick both have expiring contracts. If they make a deal where Curry and Kyrie go Lakers for Brick and some late, garbage fillers.. I can imagine Silver and Lebron must have a gun locked in Nets FO's heads. Because that makes absolutely zero sense.

No, that's fair. Beal due to length is definitely the worst in the league. But I agree with you, having two ball dominant players who can't shoot makes no sense. Again if this deal is made, there was must be some shit happening at the background, because it makes no sense.

Re: REPORT: Lakers and Brooklyn in Active Talks for Kyrie Trade
The nets may straight up buyout westbrook like Hou did with wall, I don’t think they care that much about being competitive. The offer seems bad but the lakers are the only ones offering a frp. The nets want to give up harris because he has long term money and is negative value coming off an injury but I would give up curry too if it meant getting 2 frps some seconds and a swap or 2.
