Play in team with 2 top 15 players?
Tatum over Lebron?
Surely you jest!

It's about optics. Boston has the best record in the league. They need a guy in the first team.
No one in their right mind would say that Tatum is actually a better or more inpactful player than LeBron.

"They have the best team, so we all have to pretend they have a top 5 player even though we all know they dont."
I mean youre absolutely right, that is exactly how the voters think and will probably vote.
But it's so absurd. Everyone agreeing to do something that makes no sense, for no reason. It's utterly unnecessary and backward to employ this faulty logic, and yet the voters WILL do it en masse.
Bizaro world.
Kyrie lol. He played 58 games he’s not even eligible. Nor is he deserving even without that rule.

Any idea how often an 8-seed has two all NBA players? Since 2010, 17 have had none; 8 have had one, and one has had 2. That was the 2018 Wolves, with Butler and Towns, and it was undeserved.
By your way of thinking, Minnesota, with the third best record in the League, doesn’t have a single all-NBA guy on the squad. That’s absurd.

Yes they do. Edwards is on my 2nd team.
LAL is no ordinary 8th seed either. They have the same record as the East 5th seed Magic, in a much tougher conference. When adjusted for strength of schedule, I'd argue that their record is superior any team in the East aside from Boston... Who would you have in over Bron and/or AD?
The only mistake I made was Kyrie. He shouldn't be in there. I'd probably replace him with Kawhi

Lakers won 45 games and landed in 8th place with Davis and some decent roleplayers. Where is all of this impact?
They got rid of Position rules right? They can make a team all guards if they want to get they? We will have to wait until the voting results come out to see, but I think you just vote for everyone and they rank it one through 15 Regardless of position.

Im sure not seeing it. I top 15 player can make a team good. 2 should make them great
Kyrie lol. He played 58 games he’s not even eligible. Nor is he deserving even without that rule.
Who are you taking over kyrie at the 3rd team?
This is gonna be funny.

Banchero
edit: Kyries stats are better than I realized. Maybe he does get the nod. Altho missing that many games isnt just a technical disqualification, Id hold it against him even if it werent

Banchero isn't even a guard. Dude is the same size as Lebron.
I know you guys hate kyrie because of your infatuation with LeBron but dude was awesome this year. He was very easily a top 6 guard in the NBA and dude is one of the most skilled players ever. If you can't appreciate kyries game you simply have an extremely low basketball IQ.

I dont care, Lebron DIDNT DESERVE TO GET ABANDONED!!!!!!!!!
Actually I just looked it up and banchero is 6'10 260.
That ain't no ****ing guard lol.

The teams are positionless.
The fact that first team happens to look like a normal lineup is coincidence.
Who are you taking over kyrie at the 3rd team?

Kawhi.
Please try and argue Kyrie is better
Kyrie lol. He played 58 games he’s not even eligible. Nor is he deserving even without that rule.
He'd deserve it under the old rules. 26/5/5 on 50/41/91 splits on a 5 seed is deserving of All-NBA. Mavs were also sub-.500 when he didn't play. Had some huge MVP-level performances vs. good teams when he played without Luka.
Kawhi.

Kawhi is a SF.
Kawhi.

Nah, too much colluding from Kawhi. I cant sanction that.

Kawhi isn't a guard you idiot.
Hes a forward. It's clear they were voting based on position.
Kyrie literally hung a sniper 50/40/90 master class efficiency on prime Wade volume on a top team.
You're a clown to act like having him on the 3rd team is a travesty or something.
The teams are positionless.

All the teams have 2 guards at the spots reserved for guards. They're not gonna put big forwards in the guard slot. So whatever the rules are now they ignored. Could've put Rudy Gobert in for Haliburton or kyrie then.

No one cares about wins and impact. Maybe another laker instead!
Embiid should be 1st team. Mitchell should be 2nd team. Kyrie should be 3rd team.
Alas they are not eligible.

It’s no longer based on position. You’re very dumb :(
Hey! Let's cool it with the name-calling! I won't have any back-and-forth on my forum.
No one cares about wins and impact. Maybe another laker instead!
To be fair Lebron and AD had awesome year this year so they deserve it. The West is just absurdly stacked.
Gobert should've got the nod over Sabonis though. That's crazy.

Who won the in-season championsip?

There are no spots reserved for anyone anymore. If everyone stays healthy it could potentially be Luka, SGA, Brunson, Jokic, Embiid one year. Dont have to have any particular position.
League probably got sick of centers stealing spots. They had Deandre Jordan first team a while back. That probably started the push.
Who won The Championsip?
Who did? The OP? Because I’m reading votes from actual voters and they are clearly position less. Perkins did Jokic, Tatum, SGA, Luka, Brunson first team in his official ballot.

I assumed the OP was the official list. He kind of made it seem that way. Either way Kendrick Perkins is the last guy I'd ever listen to. That guy is ****ing retarded and was a terrible basketball player only in the league for his size turned espn media puppet with an IQ of about 85 or less. The average ISH poster is at least 15-20 points higher and were not all sellouts.
I don’t care who you wanna listen to just talking about the format. As the votes come out some seem to wanna hang on positions and some don’t. Some it just comes out that way. JJ voted Jokic, Luka, SGA, Tatum Giannis first team so it worked out by position. All 3 of his teams worked out that way but he was torn on giving Sabonis second team or not.
Tatum over Lebron?
Surely you jest!
i was going to say first team means u play defense ... i saw tatum w/his finger up his ass most of the time
My picks:
1st team
Jokic
Giannis
Tatum
SGA
Luka
2nd team
Davis
Durant
Edwards
Brunson
Sabonis
3rd team
Halliburton
LeBron
Kawhi
Curry
Wembanyama
To me All-NBA is about the individual players rather than the team record, and I think Wembanyama has earned a spot already.
