Ok, I've seen enough. Barely above .500, getting beat by the PISTONS. Lebron doesn't deserve this. Sack the man.

Honeymoon phase is over
The lakers should probably try and get some bench pieces..
Can’t blame no free agents for wanting to go to that shitshow though :lol
Lol, the Lakers were, what, 3-0 and people were acting like JJ was the 2nd coming of Christ. Sports fans are perpetual prisoners of the moment, if nothing else.
Honestly should have been sacked after Bronny's first DNP-CD. Theres no excuse for that.
Bronny was a DNP-CD again last night and look what happens. Lost to the ****ing Pistons.
The Lakers need a head coach who "gets it."

Even when they were 3-0, their defense was really, really awful though.
JJ already has the finals date circled out in the calendar. There is no way the top 2 highest IQs in basketball with a stacked team (Dad and Kobesque son-last to leave the gym) can ever lose this.

Don't insult Bronny like that please.
Heard some interesting info on their defense. Prior to the Detroit game the Lakers were 11th in half court defense but their transition defense is so bad their overall defense was 26th.
Counting the 2nd half of the Toronto game and the first half against Detroit.... LA was outscored 141-108.
Not good
Whaddaya say, Bronies? Ready to throw JJ under the bus and give him the old heave ho yet?
Whatever I've seen of Reddick is that he still doesn't have a coach's temperament. In this league and at this level, that's not optional.
Maybe this is a lesson to front offices, that just because you're impressed with someone's commentary on TV, doesn't mean they should be your franchise's coach. You need a little more experience in that role than coaching his own sons' youth basketball team.
The Lakers are 6th in the league in offensive efficiency compared to 15th last year. Their big problem is transition defense. They lack perimeter athleticism and obviously LeBron and AD aren't going to be that motivated to hustle back on D at this time of year.
They are 11-8, not 8-11. Too early to hit the panic button.

Now they're 12-11. For some context, last year at the same point under Darvin "Ham-Fisted" Ham they were 14-9.
Just sayin'.

When did bran start showing visible frustration towards Ham? Let’s see the tolerance towards JJ.

Like no one except Jeannie saw this coming.

Huh...weird you were sayin' that they were falling out of the play in bracket and now 8 weeks later they are.
Coach of the Year odds has JJ in the top five
Kenny Atkinson (Cavaliers) +140
Joe Mazzulla (Celtics) +800
Mike Budenholzer (Bucks) +800
Steve Kerr (Warriors) +900
JJ Redick (Lakers) +2200

Once again, the league bailed them out with shocking trades. We'll see what happens though. Redick just might redeem himself. With the team they have, the Lakers should be winning a championship this year.

Really...the league with AD injured and traded and Luka just coming back it was a league that got the Lakers to the 4 seed.
It couldn't be that you were overreacting in mid-december...that couldn't have been it at all.

JJ lookin like a genius after last night saggy/crowded matchup zone. And running the offense thru Luka, with many familiar sets woven in.
You could tell Lakers staff treated that game like an early playoff test of strategy/capability.

Can only run blitz zone like that because Denver has two non shooters you don't have to close out on or respect at all in their main rotation.

The only legit competition the Lakers have in the West is the OKC.

The league "bailed them out" when they were already the #4 seed in the West, far from the play in.
Hold this L.

You're trying to rewrite history, but you're just making yourselves look dumb. I've been saying since the preseason that the Lakers should be favorites to win the West.
And Dudley just keeps on losing.... Tom Brady-esque.

Wow, you're level of dumbness never ceases to amaze. Look at the date of that post. The Lakers were like one game out of the lottery at the time. It was a statement of FACT. Go ahead, try to dispute it. I dare you.

You really do put a lot of effort into damage control. Are you ready to admit that I was right way back in the preseason and that the Lakers should be favorites to win the West? Hmmmmmmm?
After all, your hero Lebron only needs a ball, right?

And of course Dudley disappears. Predictable. I guess he reached down and couldn't find anything resembling a set of cajones. He just keeps on losing. Much like his hero Lebron for most of his career.

Question for Lakers fans: Do you think Redick is better than Darvin Ham?
