Pacers win series 4-1
Pacers
Pacers in 6. Too much offensive firepower. Dame doesn't come back 100%. Brook's lack of speed forces MIL to play Portis or Giannis at C. They lose some advantages.
Bucks in 6. McConnell steals a couple games.
Pacers in 7
I’ve never been a fan of the Lillard bucks. The combo of losing jrue and middleton declining has been huge. Giannis will have some huge games but Haliburton and co will outlast them.
Caitlin Clark in the house!
Bucks have the higher ceiling, Pacers have the higher floor.
Cant trust the Bucks' health or consistency here. I think home court will be the difference. Pacers in seven.
Somethings surely gonna happen with Giannis at some point, right? This series could make or break this team.
Not sure how much longer Giannis is gonna stick around if theyre not going anywhere.
The Bucks used to be firm contenders.
I applaud anyone who can sit through even a game of this snoozer series.
Bucks in 5.
Last post season against the Pacers it went 6 games with Giannis missing every single game and Lillard missing two games.
Giannis is hungry after missing last year's playoffs with injury, the Pacers have no answer for him, he will dominate.
This is the least interesting matchup of the entire 1st round so just as well it's up first.
I don't trust Milwaukee at all. Pacers in 6. They wont lose a game at home.
In the last six games that Lillard has missed Giannis has been playing point forward the whole time. His stats the last 6 games?

It's one of the more interesting matchups for me personally. They played each other last year in the playoffs and the Bucks stole two games against them with no Giannis and all the games and Lillard missing two games.
The Bucks will want revenge.
Opposing crowd has brought out the free throw countdown for Giannis. :lol
Giannis balling out with no TO but with the worst +/- on the floor and down by 15 doesnt bode well for the Bucks. People were saying that the Pacers have no answer for Giannis but atm they don't need one.

Giannis' teammates are godawful jeez
Half: Pacers 67, Bucks 43
- Antetokounmpo 19pts, 5reb
- Trent 6pts
- Rollins 5pts
- Bucks are 2-of-16 from 3.
Pacers have 26 points in the paint and 15 fast break points. They've shot 61 percent from the field.
Pacers 25 of 41 from the floor, 7 of 17 from 3, 10 of 10 at the line
Bucks 17 of 39, 2 of 16, 7 of 13, Nembhard 15, Siakam 12, Mathurin 11, Giannis 19. No one else on Bucks has more than six.
I knew a lot of Giannis' teammates were bad, but both Kuzma and Prince who are starters have played 17 minutes and they both have goose eggs.
Jeeeeez...
Kuzma is awful I genuinely am confused why the Bucks traded for him.
Siakam +24
Giannis -29
Where the trolls at now?
d-uh-uh-uh-uhh
:biggums:
Giannis is no longer a championship player. He has turned into Knicks melo. Where he puts up the same stats as his prime but without actual impact.
Turner with another 3 and he's got 15. Pacers up 82-56.

:D
You eating your crow now boy.
Watch your mouth.

What do you want him to do with this roster? I underestimated how bad they are. It's just him and Lopez....

I'm already wishing I said Pacers in 5.
I'm already wishing I said Pacers in 5.
I feel like I predicted Bucks would win this series, but I can't remember for sure. This is why I don't bet. Still it's just game 1.
Giannis gets it back within 17 almost all by himself. He's got 31 and 10, just one assist.
This ain't over just yet. Pacers clearly thought it was.
FINAL: Pacers 117, Bucks 98
IND closed the 1H on 22-7 run. Siakam scored 25, Turner had 19, Nembhard with 17, and 10-7-12 from Haliburton.
- Antetokounmpo 36pts/12reb/2blk
- Green 15pts/3reb
- Trent 14pts/2reb/2ast
- Porter 12pts/5reb/5ast
- Bucks went 8-of-25 from 3 (22.9%)
Pacers 1, Bucks 0.
TJ finished in double figures, he was once again the difference.
Kuzma was very atrocious here. He should have contributed a lot to the team with lillard missing.
Kuzma was very atrocious here. He should have contributed a lot to the team with lillard missing.
It was a bad trade.
Kyle Kuzma became the second player this season to record 0 points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks while playing 20 or more minutes on a game.
Bucks could've used Middleton today. Instead they wanted quintuple zero.

There must be a Wilt photoshop with Kuzma's head and 5 0s on the paper somewhere online.
It's officially being reported that Dame will be back by game two or three. Or at least aiming to.
For anyone that cares Lillard is officially upgraded to questionable for Game 2 tomorrow. He had a full practice last Thursday.
Lillard averaged 31.3 points, 5.0 assists and 3.3 rebounds during the playoffs for the Bucks last season with Giannis missing the playoffs.
I'm not changing my pick of Bucks in 5. I'll live with it being wrong and give the Pacers their kudos, but for some reason I totally forgot Doc Rivers was coaching them and how much I loathe Doc Rivers and his overratedness. I should've picked Pacers in 5 or 6. :oldlol:
Reason I post this is because I just read a story where Rivers defended Kyle Kuzma's quintuple zero performance...
“It’s hard to score when you don’t touch the ball. Kuzma can play, we just gotta involve him and we gotta make sure to keep him involved.
...he doesn't bring up the fact of zero rebounds or zero steals. He didn't touch the ball at all even defensively. And guess what? Rivers will probably start his dumbass again out there when he should come off the bench.

The Lillaird return makes a major difference on paper, pretty sure that go and Giannis were the highest-scoring duo. He gives them a second scorer, an outside shooter, and maybe makes it easier for roleplayers offensively. On the flip side he's a defensive negative but Antetokuonmpo's support was so bad that it should result be worth it.
