It appears that Eminem is in really bad shape

RAP megastar EMINEM should be at the top of his game, cherry-picking the best talent for his production company.

Instead, The Sun can reveal, he is an overweight, spotty recluse with health problems who gorges on fatty food, and spend his days watching TV and playing computer games.

The one-time workaholic used to constantly scribble lyrics on scraps of paper then toil tirelessly in his studio revising songs.

But the 35-year-old has been crippled by writer

I saw him in person about 8 months ago (the company I was interning for did A & R/Advertising for Shady Records) and I couldn't believe how fat he was. I attributed it to him not being in the spotlight and eventually he'd get back in shape when he was releasing an album, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Man, just let Marshall be Marshall. His best friend just died so that definately has an effect on him and probably made him see that there is more to life than making hip hop hits. If he wants to stay home with his daughter and play games all day, let him. Why is that so bad? So what if he's eating all that greasy unhealthy fast food. Sounds to me like he just wants to live like regular folks. He's paid so money is not a problem for him.

Because the guy has a history of not only addiction problems but major health issues as well. If he's sitting around being a recluse, eating junk food and becoming morbidly obese he's on a one way trip to death.

That sux for him. I really liked him when his first CD came out. nd the next 3 that came out were very good. He has a lot of talent. His lyrics and beats were very sick. never afaid to push the limits n his lyrics.

He is supposed to have his new album King Mathers this year or maybe early next year so he will get back in shape.

He has a depression problem supposedly, and I didn't know of his physical problems until now. Yeah, he should definitely watch his health, because he's one of the best rappers in the world.

Reminds me of Marc Bolan, John Frusciante, and Elvis. Two of three cases didn't go too well. Making records is probably his best friend.

I don't know whether he is just putting the face on, but he doesn't look to happy in those pics, either that or he's just posing.

man he looks sad....

his first two albums were amazing, his 3rd was good (really liked the songs "Till I collapse," and "When the Music Stops,") his 4th album was average (kinda liked the song "Puke."),and then everything after that was total crap. He started rapping about things that every other rapper talked about. He lost his originality, and lost his desire to bring his fans what they craved. Money took away that angry edge from him that made him so popular.

Hard to believe he's 35. I actually would've guessed about 29-30...........

He said something like "you know, you hear about how rapper's first album was hot then they start trailing off... well the first album is like 20 years in the making... all the stuff he ever wanted to put forth is being put out and alot of times its gonna be extremely hot... But come the 3rd or 4th album? he's trying to duplicate what he already did...thats tuff to do"


I think Eminnem is there..... his style is unique and I guess he needs a spark or something

Or he just he needs something else to write about. His music is mostly about him being white or his mom/daughter/girlfriend, and like you said, he needs a new spark, some kind of drama to get his brain going. Maybe a rap beef.

that is crazy. His mom is a hypocrite tho, to pretend she wrote the book to help him and not taking advantage of her son being the celebrity that will sell her books is a joke. Sure shes worried because thats her goldmine running out of gold...

and i never understood why Eminem sweated that girl of his so much. He could easily get better than that, and i'm sure has(think he banged out Mariah). Its why i dont feel sorry for him at all, he brought alot of it on himself through his own stupidity.

he has gained alot of weight in his face and lower body from those pics...dude needs to hire a personal chef and physical trainer. at least he has the money for it unlike most others in that situation...

I thought Eminem Show was his best album. Which was that? His second? I was never a big fan, I found him kind of cheesy, but I thought Eminem Show had the perfect mix of indie and commercial appeal.

3rd album on aftermath. but he had an album infinate which was great. so eminem show was technically his 4th album.

Holy f*ck. Look at his right leg on the second pic. Exposed. That ain't a buff leg. That's... fat.

I never really liked him. He is a great lyricist but I just cant stand his voice. It would be like having Moses Malone as your favorite basketball player. I hope for the sake of rap music he can get back in the flow and make a quality album, because the industry is going downhill pretty fast.

He looks depressed. Not as big as I imagined though.

I did hear that his best friend recently passed away and he's having a hard time coping with that. Hopefully he bounces back soon.

I wouldn't be too worried about him. He'll be back eventually, and he isn't completely out of the loop. There are rumors that he is close to signing Joe Budden to Shady Records. He's just dealing with his best friends death, and it seems he is taking it rough. But eventually I expect him to snap out of it, and get back in the studio.

I hope he does sign Budden to his label, that would be sick.

im not sure, but i know he got back in shape around october or november '06 to make the 'you don't know' music video with 50 cent. he also made the re-up album during this time, so i would assume his recent fatness began about 6 months ago. he also has/had an album coming out called king mathers and d12 is waiting for him to do his verses for their new album.
