Mavericks dropped 8 out of 10 of their last playoffs games, but only 1 loss was at ACC.
Key questions:
Can anybody slow down Chris Paul?
Can Dirk Nowitzki step up?
Can Howard/Stackhouse/Kidd hit more than a few shots?

My prediction:
A formidable Dirk performance beats another career night of CP3, Mavericks by 8!
this game will go as expected. hornets will probably come out flat, dallas will feed off the crowd and win by 10+. then game 4 the hornets will steal it and close it out in new orleans for game 5.

At first I thought the Mavs would steal one of the first 2 in NO and take the series in 5, But after game 2 CP3 has chopped and screwed this series. Tonight however, Kidd and Dirk need to step up and carry this DAMN team to Victory. They will have the crowd behind them and they need to feed off that. I see the Mavs winning by double digits.
did anyone hear about stackhouse saying he wanted to kick byron scotts ass earlier in the season? haha. it's a great quote. im waiting for espn to put it up.

What the hell is there anybody I mean anybody on the Mavs roster who can hit an open jump shot? Stackhouse, Terry, Howard, all are complete brick layers. If they lose this series the Mavs should revamp the entire supporting cast because these guys are total garbage.
