Re: Do people believe Kobe's personality is contrived?
You're being silly. You've been bashing Kobe on this forum for over FOUR YEARS man. What type of kobe fanatic/freak/weirdo has him ranked under duncan and shaq all time? You called out the wrong dude. :facepalm
Uh, a lot of people still has Kobe below those guys.
Re: Do people believe Kobe's personality is contrived?
There's a reason TheLogo is thought of so poorly come on now. Dude is a troll, and has even admitted such. Anyway, whether he is or isn't I have no desire to read the garbage he spews. As for myself, the only people who consistently have a problem with what I say are (you guessed it) Kobe fans! However, everyone else I've always been pretty cool with.
I honestly don't have a problem with Kobe FANS, I have friends that are. It's just a game at the end of the day. But TheLogos, Jacks, griffmoneys, etc. are the true lowlifes. And I've even seen Kobe fans call them out for giving them a bad name.
There are the Kobe's and the Lebron's of this world, the alphas and the betas.
Your solution to posters that don't agree with you, is to put them on the ignore list, take your ball and go home. You are the Lebron's of the world.
I'm a little more thicker in the skin than that and will continue to give my opinion regardless of what my fans or haters have to say...

To be fair to Jacks, i don't even think he ranks kobe as a top 10 player alltime. you might think sarcasm or front, but he's actually very consistent with it.
And if i had a sports idol, it's Barry Sanders or Earl Campbell.
Followed by L.T. and Ray Lewis... But there's some, uh, issues there.

yeah, a lot of Non Fanatics, bro. That's the point.
Re: Do people believe Kobe's personality is contrived?
as long as he and the lakes keep hanging banners from the ceiling he can wear a push-up bra and sing show tunes at halftime for all i care.... lol
Re: Do people believe Kobe's personality is contrived?
I believe people try to say Kobe copies MJ, so they can prop up MJ.
That is not the case because Kobe has his own style.
It's pathetic how people try to hype up Jordan, long after he's retired, by saying Kobe copies him.
How come nobody is saying OJ Mayo is copying Jordan or Lebron or Wade? People want to take the best player today, Kobe, and compare him to Jordan, therefore, they can say MJ is better because Kobe copied him.
It's like saying Ferrari is copying BMW.
Are you actually saying Kobe is a Ferrari to Jordans' BMW?
:oldlol:
Seriously..how much of Jordans' career have you actually watched?
Re: Do people believe Kobe's personality is contrived?
he s clearely anti social to be honnest. He despises people. He s a perfectionnist which means he s never satisfied, and the cheating story with that white whore is the best proof of it. The guy is constantly frustrated. He has that angry little spoiled kid personnality, typical of rich kids who travelled a lot and were always told they are the bests.
And i agree all the stuff with the family sounds inconceivably fake everytime i see it. His wife is a puppet and he s a control freak.
Must not be funny to live in the shadow of such a manipulative, egocentrical character.
Re: Do people believe Kobe's personality is contrived?
Damn Kobe haters are pathetic. Who the hell spends so much timer obsessing about a player they dislike. lol @ that moron Knoe.

Perfect description but that's also why he's a great player.
Re: Do people believe Kobe's personality is contrived?
sometimes ish reminds me people magazine...
what's really great is when someone says "i'm just defending so and so because he gets too much hate on here"
he's a great basketball player and he's helped the lakers to 5 championships, what else matters?
Re: Do people believe Kobe's personality is contrived?
it wouldnt surprise me if the guy has some kind of unresolved beef toward his parents that would require the help of a psychologist.
A lot of excellent people are in fact deeply sad people with an extremistic personality that would be considered as abnormal people with conflictual personalities had they been everyday average joes living in our everyday life. And the origin of this abrnomal behaviors are always deeply rooted in traumas that occured in their childhood. They try to overcompensate for something they lack.
Some "crazy people" succeed because they can use their craziness at the right place at the right time, while they would be considered as mental cases ruining the life of everyone had they been living with the mortals.
Is he happy? that is yet to prove. Jordan never struck me as an happy individual either. What is the price to pay for such dedication and aggressiveness, such mastery in one domain of one's existence ? Nothing is ever free, everything has a cost.

I bet the same people who say "How can Kobe play with such little joy" are the ones saying "Dwight smiles too much".
Hate to do it, but.....

best post in the whole thread and it came from a red, shows what a joke the rep system is, anyway its kind of sad when you think about it that these guys like Jordan can never ever achieve peace of mind. That is obvious through MJ's gambling problems because there was never any reason for him to gamble it just became a habit as a result of his complacency of his life after bball.
