I still am hobbled a bit. And I will have follow up surgery on Monday before I am fully recovered from the last surgery. But overall I feel good. The less pain meds I'm on, the more I can feel the new kidney inside of me. There is a not in my lower right hand side of my gut, as if a fist had been added to my insides. It isn't painful, but it is certainly a weird feeling, and it takes away flexibility until everything stretches out and adjusts, so I can't take full size steps yet.
My Sister got her kidney about a year ago somewhat. She's turning 7 in a couple of days. But her condition is still unfortunate, in and out of the hospital dealing with constant infections and major deficiencies.
We celebrated like crazy when she got her kidney, just didn't expect all these complications. Hope everything is just on your end though man, good luck in your recovery.

Damn, it's so hard to watch kids go through such treatments, the worst part is that some of them think it's their fault and that they have done something bad so they don't bitch and whine about the pain to vent. I hope your sister recovers and goes on to have a happy childhood and make good memories.

They are going to remove my peritoneal dialysis catheter. They left it in previously just in case the kidney didn't take at first. While they take out the catheter, they will also remove a stint from my bladder from the first surgery (this is done through my dickhole and doesn't require me being unconscious, but might as well do it while I'm unconscious since I will be under anyway).
I will be out after a few hours, so TV shouldn't be too necessary this time around.

[/QUOTE]My recommendation is to try and hunt out the donor and look for his medical history, maybe it wasn't the surgery or your sister health but something the donor had previously and didn't get treated. I am just talking out of my ass though...
Good luck with your procedure Myth. At least you'll be out so enjoy your drugs:kobe:
Surgery went well today. I can tell already that this is going to be the easiest of the 3 surgeries in the last 3 months to recover from. One interesting note, after the removed the stint from my bladder, I went home and peed, and I started farting out of my dick. Scared the shit out of me.
