Possibly because he is currently agreeing with so many Obama positions Romney has been far less aggressive than in debates past. That might be a mistake but he may have decided not to engage in a fight in an area that's not one of his strengths (foreign policy).

I don't think he's doing badly, there have been no killer lines or megagaffes. He just hasn't been impressive.

This election will be about the economy. I'm watching because I'm interested but the majority of Americans aren't.
