Pushing the ball in transition. Playing with pace. Shooting a lot of 3-pointers, yet scoring in the paint. And above all: Spacing, spacing, spacing.
These are the catch-phrases and characteristics of what Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder wants his offense to look like this coming season.

Re: 2015 training camp!
http://www.sltrib.com/sports/3062315-155/utah-jazz-a-different-feeling-surrounds
By December, it became clear that he was a better fit for the Jazz at center than Enes Kanter.
And Favors. First time I've seen anyone else mention December though. It's all been about the trade not that Rudy started dominating by mid December.
Kanter was traded to Oklahoma City, and Utah took off in March and April with Gobert in the starting lineup.
Gobert has played fewer minutes during this preseason than any other Jazz starter, after playing for the French national team in Eurobasket, a high-profile tournament that ended before the start of training camp.
The Jazz front office and coaching staff have been careful to straddle the line of allowing Gobert rest, but keeping him sharp. When he's been off the floor in the preseason, the defensive dropoff has been noticeable.
"Rudy's played a lot of basketball, so we don't want him to wear him down," Jazz coach Quin Snyder said. "His situation is very different. He's had a lot of growth over the course of last year and the summer. One of the good things about Rudy is that he likes to play basketball."
Gobert, in other words, is a known commodity. At his best, the 7-foot-1 big man is one of the elite paint protectors in basketball. But he's more than that. Over the course of last year, Gobert proved to be a great rebounder, athletic when running the floor, a supreme finisher at the rim, a better passer than given credit for and a capable free-throw shooter.
He is still the Jazz's security blanket. Utah's perimeter defenders played aggressively last season, knowing Gobert was around to erase mistakes, a big part of them closing last year in a strong manner.
But has Gobert added to his game? There are rumors of a consistent 10-12 foot jumper being developed over the summer, but it hasn't yet debuted in a game.
Yeah I expected improvement. Haven't seen it yet but I expect we will once the season starts and he has his game face on again.
Gobert clearly hit the weight room in the offseason. He looks bigger, more muscular around the shoulders.
One thing Gobert has to adjust to is teams adjusting to him. Once the NBA starts to prepare for you, your greatness relies on that ability to counter. Already, you see players pulling up for floaters, instead of going all the way to the basket. And you can bet teams will go small in an attempt to pull Gobert from the basket.
The thing is he's a great perimeter defender too. If someone else can protect the rim they counter that.
Still, the Jazz can rely on Gobert to be what he has been, which is one of the best defenders in the league. And that can possibly take Utah a long way.
"It's great knowing you have him behind you defensively," Utah guard Rodney Hood said. "You just do your job and try to keep it out of the middle of the floor and if you get beat, he blocks or alters the shots or gets the rebound. It's great having him back there."
Snyder also has known Thibodeau for an extended time, calling him the "Dean" of defense.
Imagine what he'd do with Rudy!
Thibodeau was the defensive mastermind behind the Celtics' title team of 2008, and moved on to the Bulls, where he led that franchise to the Eastern Conference Finals. He was fired this past summer as a long feud with the Bulls front office boiled over. Still, he's considered one of the top coaches in the NBA.
"I got a chance to work with him a little bit through Team USA," Jazz point guard Trey Burke said. "So it's great to be able to see him here. I got a chance to say hello to him, but it's always been great to see coach."
Practice, practice
The Jazz used Tuesday as a recovery day and Wednesday as a hard practice day, as they have until Sunday to prepare for another shot at the Blazers.
Friday will be Utah's open practice at EnergySolutions Arena, and the team is expected to scrimmage as well.
Withey rising
Utah cutting center Jack Cooley greatly increases the chance of Jeff Withey making the opening night roster. Withey has been a pleasant surprise in the preseason, with his ability to block shots and be a defensive presence under the basket. The Jazz have been playing him and Tibor Pleiss in a backup role to Rudy Gobert.
