Re: RED WAVE Meltdown Thread, 2024-2028
of course you would defend UBI... which is straight up communism.
let me simplify what you just said:
What's the alternative?
New Chatgpt voice can already make sales calls and overcome objections over the phone, self driving trucks are just around the corner and will put millions of truckers out of commission, just a matter of time before cpa's are replaced with ai algorithms so besides a few compsci jobs, the other 98% of the population will have nothing to do. We can protest tech advancement I suppose, but then we just set ourselves to get lapped by another country as the global superpower and slowly devolve into being owned by them.
At some point we have to embrace new ideas. We need unprecedented solutions for unprecedented situations.
It is communism, yes.
But when AI and automation take all of our jobs away, we will be left with no choice. Simple as that.
It isn't a politics thing, it's a technology thing.
And we will be "happy". But it will be because we are able to spend our days doing whatever the hell we want to. And we will "own" whatever we want.
Ok... what difference does it make if it's political or technology?
It's still hive-mind communist bullshit... and you guys act like this isn't part of an agenda,... it's just technology and evolution finally caught up to us to where we all have to be enslaved by it? Ok yea, sure.
You might as well get a barcode stamped on forehead... I mean why not? You guys had no problem bowing down to Pfizer.
You'll be happy giving your children 6 covid booster shots a year, and owning nothing... it's incredible.
The sad thing is you really think Bill Gates is a legit philanthropist.... How naive can you be to believe that?
Either way it's always been problem/reaction/solution with every crisis.... and it has always been a combination of Government and CORPORATE interests.
They create the problem... we get a piss poor reaction from the public... and we all agree on a solution taking away our freedoms & liberties.
I'm sure we will have robot/employment problem in the future... but if the solution is this fictitious communist utopia that you liberals keep fantasizing about... it's never gonna happen, nor would it ever serve the public's best interest.
And it is a political thing... if the politicians are always providing the solutions.
That's like saying Hurricane Katrina was "weather thing" and not a "political thing"

Lemme know when a robot can unclog my sink. LOL.

This post is all over the place :oldlol: This is darting about in like 8 different directions.
Look, eventually AI is going to take your job away from you. And everyone else. It will be a slow process, and some industries will survive longer than others. But at the end of it all? None of us will be able to work. There isn't anything "hive-mind" about it. It's just the way it is.
"Hive-Mind" is being convinced that slaving away your life behind a desk is happiness.

Hopefully, no longer having to spend 50-60 hours a week at work and commuting, you can figure out how to unclog your own sink.
And this is why I've always said America is pseudo small business. Think about industries that actually survive in small business format: hvac, daycare, maid services, landscaping... it's all local services and novelties that corporations have deemed are(for now) too small and not worth getting their hands in. When ai takes all of the finance, accounting, billing etc jobs and we no longer have a society dominated by dual income hh's with no extra energy and free time, landscaping and maid services will slowly die out along with daycare.

That's like saying Hurricane Katrina was "weather thing" and not a "political thing"
The real hive-mind bullshit is being conditioned by the elites to be all 'liberal this, liberal that' about everything. At some point you have to recognize that the broke, weed smoking blue haired hippy who makes $40k is in the same class as a finance director with an MBA or a surgeon as far as the elites are concerned. Sure, the surgeon is 'better' than the blue-hair at the micro level, but when shit truly hits the fan neither make the elite owner class and will be beholden to their mercy when the time actually comes unless we actually unite.
Re: RED WAVE Meltdown Thread, 2024-2028
The single greatest example of "hive-mind" is religion.
Believing is something because the masses around you do and literally nothing else.
